Nice. Always love you recipes. I tweaked it a bit my making the liquid brewed coffee instead of what we since i wanted an actual coffee walnut cake and then the vanilla extract I broke down to three extracts vanilla, coffee extract and cinnamon extract and then made a coffee buttercream to go with it. I also used 100g butter and the remaining 70g was oil to yield a moist cake. Was great

Hi love your channel been baking your recipes all month...buying your book next but quick question for this coffee cake recipe I tried it but I'm not a coconut flour fan can I omit that and add more whey protein flour will that work?

@@AllDayIDreamAboutFood I do have two loaf pans if one doesn't hold the batter. Just don't have the storage space to store a new tube pan ;-) Wondering they will affect the texture and taste.

What size is the tube pan please? 10"? Thanks for the video.

I'm making this today in two smaller round (the only pans I have while living in the trailer). Anyway, I'm not sure how to reduce to cook time so will start checking after 30 minutes. I'm taking it to a dinner we were invited to so I am praying I di it right. :)

Carolyn! 😃 A yummy coffee cake. Normally when i see a yummy recipe i almost have to make it right now if i have all the stuff. But i just got done making bacon and food at least for now is a no go cause of course you know you have to munch. I have no desire for food which might be a good thing. I think it would be a better replacement for the butter, rather than the water. Then you could hold back on the water until you see the consistency of batter.

Egg white protein powder. It's critical to helping it rise properly.

this looks like a winner. i am missing one ingredient, protein powder. is this necessary,if so can u suggest a sub? it is very expensive. rsvp. thanx.

If you want to do any amount of keto baking, you really want some protein powder. It helps cakes and muffins rise and hold their shape. It makes a HUGE difference, but a bag will last you a good 6 months so it's worth it. Check out the video description as I link to my video on the importance of protein powder and you will see just how much of a difference it makes.

Where's the coffee Carolyn? In England we like coffee in our coffee cakes, or am I missing something? :)

"Coffee Cake" is something you eat with coffee. It doesn't contain coffee. :)

How can I halve it? What size type of pan would work.
