Memorial Day weekend 2024 was quite the weekend for good trains to make their way into the valley! There are so many goodies in this video. There is a BNSF dash 9 leader on an Amtrak San Joaquins train, CDTX 8306 and its lovely P5 made an appearance, UP 1988 "The Katy" lead a southbound manifest train, there was a BNSF military train with a P3 leader, BNSF 4729 the "Frankenbonnet" made an appearance, got a double shave and a haircut from a good engineer friend, got to see my awesome local with two old B40-8W locomotives both rocking RS3L horns, and lots more! It was definitely a memorable weekend. Enjoy!!
