Railfanning the Cajon Pass 1! ~ Feat. KCS, Warbonnet, NS, H1, Ferromex, and MORE!
Ойындар
During June 2024, I made a long awaited trip down to the Cajon Pass to do some railfanning. The day definitely did not disappoint as I caught 22 total trains that day! I started out my day down at Glen Helen to catch a UP train making its way to the West Colton yard. From there, I moved locations to Silverwood where I caught a BNSF baretable train that came from my territory up in the north. I then went to Hill 582 for a little bit and caught a good amount of trains there. I caught a meet between a BNSF intermodal train and a heavy UP ore train. I proceeded to Summit to catch a UP train with an ex-SP leader as well seeing a KCS unit in the consist. I chased this train to Walker where I would see it again as well as a heavy UP train lugging it up the hill with a classic thundercab ACe on the point. I then moved on to a location between Keenbrook and Verdemont where I would see a half/half international/domestic intermodal train with a Ferromex locomotive helping out in the middle. That was met with another domestic stack train that had a warbonnet as well as a NS locomotive. That about concludes it for this video. There will be a part 2 as well! Enjoy!
