Lesson 3 of Bajiquan tutorial introduces more basic knowledge of Bajiquan. In this lesson, you will learn basic Bajiquan hand shapes and stances that you can integrate into your daily practice. Combined with what you learn from Bajiquan lesson one and two, you are laying a foundation for Bajiquan with these basics. In Lesson four, you are going to learn Bajiquan kicks that pave the way for learning individual Bajiquan techniques in later lessons. Make sure to subscribe so you won’t miss future lessons.

Hello! I am interested in learning more about bajiquan, my only concern is that im not sure how often i should practice and what exactly i should practice. Would you have any tips about that?
Can the resting stance be used as a possible take down technique? I watched a video where some guy said that a bunch of things taught in various Chinese traditional martial art styles can be translated to grappling moves from kuai jiao and demonstrated a move that looks similar to the resting stance. You pull the opponent's arm/sleeve inward towards you and your foot trips the opponent's foot (in the motion like in golden rooster stance where one lifts their foot towards them) and finish it up with pushing the opponent with your palm on his chest towards the ground and I speculate that the when you go down with your legs in the resting stance is to generate force to push down the enemy to the ground harder.

@@bajiquan.online Thank you for the tip and further explanation of the stance, shifu. I've had difficulties doing the resting stance because of the placement of the legs and feet. Had been coming back here to see if I'm doing it correct now.
I’m focusing on holding these stances I have the feeling the elbow stance is one of the most important Do it daily I will make this series my next 100 days training i already started today Is there a way to send you links to videos so you can see how we are processing your offerings?
