BAJA RZR Project EP 5 - Cutting The 1970 VW Bug Body

Episode 5 of BAJA RZR project. WILLY will start by removing all the sheet metal from the 1970 VW Bug body, using the #Wonderblade Toughgrit Diamond angle grinder blade, that’s not needed for mounting the body to the stretched Polaris RZR XP 900 chassis.
Can he do it?
Will it work?
We’ll have to see….

RZR Project is moving right along Willy, I think POR-15 is the rust stopper stuff, very expensive but works great.Yeah I have one of those metal cutting discs and does cut really good. 🛠👍🇺🇸

Did more work on the body today(01/5/24). Have the body about 98% ready to go on the Polaris RZR chassis. Only thing that sucks is I don’t have help to position the body till Tuesday next week. So I guess I’ll have to work on something else in the meantime.

Definitely wearing the ear plugs. The shape of the bug makes all the sounds and vibrations echo inside.
