Such a great idea. I watched several different designs and like this the most - pump sucking in filtered water so it should last longer, output sprays add aeration.

Great job on the filter. I always prefer the pump below the filter material. I’d through a bag of activated charcoal and phosphate remover in there and it will keep the water crystal clean and the bait alive even longer

Great suggestion. I've never had to use the charcoal filter due to the spray bar helping to reduce the ammonia in the water. I need to try it in both of my tanks and see how it works.
