Thanks for watching it. 🙂 Almost 9 days, 5 days up & down. Then 4 days explore karne mein. Snow bahut thi to bike skid kar rahi thi so Pahalgam hi ho paya tha, otherwise Sri Nagar bhi tha plan mein.

Hotel - Noor Mahal Rent we paid - On the first day it was 1100 per night (after negotiating) We checked out & came the very next day then we paid 1250 for the same room (after negotiating).

We visited in feb 2024 and gave 3000/- per person for pony ride to baisaran valley 😖😖😖

Oh, that was too much for a pony ride. We were also asked to give Rs. 2500 + GST, but we denied that deal. If you have a little bit of bargaining skill, then you can negotiate it to 500-1000 per person as per the season you are visiting. In the summer, when the vacations are ON, they will ask you to give more money than expected (usually between Rs. 2500 and 3500).

@@weekendwanderguy they were asking for 6500/- per person and after so much of bargaining they agreed for 3k. We even denied to go there but they can’t even let us walk they were behind us everywhere we were going so at last we gave them 3k per person .. same happened at gulmarg also for sledge ride to reach gondola.. 2500/- per person

As you mentioned about Gulmarg, unluckily we’re not allowed to go there as the route was totally covered with lots of snow and we could have been stuck. But, Yes Gulmarg is more expensive as compared with other tourists places in Kashmir. But can’t beat the beauty of Pahalgham & then Sonmarg. I would suggest people to go by trekking as much as possible because on pony ride you can’t enjoy the moments, they will not stop more than 10-15 mins in between while you’re on pony (when you have to take pictures etc). Also Baisaran is an easy trek, anyone can do it easily (if the health is ok). Btw, which place did you like the most Pahalgham or Gulmarg?

@@weekendwanderguy both have their own scenic beauty the only difference is in gulmarg you can enjoy more winter sports and adventures and pahalgam is more peaceful with lots of eye catching scenic retreats
