Andy I just have to say thank you for what you do mate! Really loving this series on the mighty Vic River. Absolutely spectacular scenery, really looks like gods country up there mate! You wouldn’t believe it I actually got up to Darwin with the family for a few short days in late April for the first time in my life. Had an absolute blast exploring Litchfield national park swimming in buleys rock hole, Florence falls & also went to Wangi falls, such an awesome place! Did a jumping croc tour on the Adelaide River & wow was there some massive crocs in there! Would’ve loved to meet you up there but to short a stay so maybe next time! Thanks for showing us all the right way to live life & appreciate this great country Australia, best place on earth!

Enjoyed again Andy. Magnificent drone footage. Geez those bloody bull sharks. You wouldn’t want to fall out of the boat down there. I went out on a full day charter out of Darwin about 18 years ago for work. Got plenty of fish and on the way in the bloke sitting next to me fell backwards overboard. I never even realised he had gone overboard as I was talking to the bloke on my right hand side. Only one person on the charter noticed he had fallen out. None of the crew seen him fall over. Luckily he could swim as he was probably two hundred metres back in the water by the time he turned it around to get him as we were motoring along 😊

Mate, you are living the life - so remote and your appreciation of the simple beauty around you is fantastic to see. The drone footage really puts things in perspective - adds a lot. SO different from the aspect from the boat where you'd never guess what lies beyond the eroded sandy banks. Fascinating to see the enormity of the country beyond the river. The escarpments are something else, aren't they.

Yeah that’s great if you ever go down on big tides and go back up the Bains or just around green island jump off onto a mud bank and try and get some live bait then once you have some just pull out about 25 meters off the bank even if you are in 0.7 of water there are usually Barra patrolling around we’re u got the bait but you did every thing right that trip as the water was crystal clear 👍😁

G’day Steve mate in the boat is a Remco 130ah lithium & it’s lightly charged by a digital VSR from the main start battery off the 60 yammy and in the canopy is a 100ah relion lithium battery and it’s charged by a 40amp XTM dcdc charger with a 250w solar panel . Like everything most the time it’s enough just got to watch things when your parked for a few days.. thank you..👏👏🎣🎣

G'day Andy, Your not imagining things bull sharks are a problem in Nth and Far Nth qld hitting barra almost as soon as your connected to one. It doesn't matter whether the water is dirty or clear. The drone footage displays nature at its best and as always you have a knack of bringing in the barra. The Major BB🎩🎣🔪👌🔼

Nah Mark this is the first time I’ve had a Barra sharked in a lot of years I do believe it’s got something to do with the water clarity been clear like swimming pool water.. I think the Baines might be known for it.. cheers mate..👏👏🎣
