@@ko.ala.bI would much rather not see them in baikal. The lake is getting too polluted for them to live in safely, and in 5-10 years all that will be left are these specimen. Not to mention global warming destroying the glaciers they rely on during the winter.

​@@MichaelK_This winter we had a temperature of - 47°C))))) In February the ice is still about a metre thick) The pollution has got worse, too many cars, but the water is still drinkable without treatment. By the way, the seal population has increased in recent years, which would be impossible if the lake was as dirty as you imagine.

Maybe this is just a small part of the basin. That tunnel is going somewhere, maybe its the main basin where they have visitors. For the people who dont know, seals and dolphins are really curious animals. We may be watching them in a basin. But they are watching us for entertainment aswell. Thats why many seal/dolphin recovery centers are open for public. This goes both ways!

@@maxnum1sgameclub263I was in this place on video. It’s a museum of a local science center. After this tunnel is just another, slightly bigger and somewhat decorated pool and nothing more for them. Cool museum tho. P.S: if really, i can’t remember properly about sizes of aquarium, so don’t mind about it.
