I don't think it's fair to say George's predicted performance is a crapshoot. He drove once for Mercedes in 2020, and would have won the race if it weren't for that nightmare pit crew fuck-up. And despite that mistake, he was on track for 1st or 2nd again, before the slow puncture. It shows 3 things: -Incredible quali pace in competitive machinery. -Incredible race pace in competitive machinery. -Incredible resilience in the face of adversity. I'm not going to claim he'll beat Hamilton. Lewis has that deep hunger to win that helps him unlock more pace from thin air. With that chip on his shoulder from 2021, I expect Lewis to be the most determined version of himself he can possibly be. But I think George will be closer to Lewis than Bottas was - And Bottas was often pretty close.

Man I would really like to see Albon do well, but the Williams cars just don't look like they can compete by a long shot. Haas has definitely been the surprise in testing and with Magneson helping I can see Schumacher getting into the top 10, possibly.

I'm guessing it's like the covid race cancellations last time. If someone picked Mazepin, then they get 0 or negative points the same as any other wrong answer.

I don't think there will be an established pecking order this year given the new concepts and what each team may be aiming for... what most people don't realize is you don't need to win all the races to be champion or get the constructor.. you just need to win close to a majority. Given the variety of tracks we have that is not easy either but if you hone in on one particular style of track or are willing to throw some so save performance for others... plus the speed at which cars will develop yeah, anyone's game imo.

I suggest you create a Chain Bear league in F1 fantasy for your subscribers to compete. :D

Honestly I think if the Ferrari is even in the top 3-4 cars its such an easy pick. Both drivers have been consistently great in relatively weak cars.

Ah yes, the career of George Russell has certainly been a "crap shoot". Back-to-back GP3-Formula 2 champion, an impeccable qualifying record versus his F1 team-mates, leading his first ever race as a sub-driver for Mercedes, getting a podium last year in the 8th best car on the grid. Who can possibly predict whether he will be any good in a top car. Total mystery.

@@orio_3 I mean he was a relatively consistent backmarker wasnt he? Which, no, doesnt sound like an achievement but when theres so few seats just staying in the sport for any amount of time is indicative of at least some consistent high level of skill.

@@orio_3 not even close, Vandoorne didnt compete in F3, and in F2 he lost in first year to Magnussen, George won all juniors championships in their first atempt

I find it quite funny to listen to Dre predictions, could pretty much be the predictions for a 2021 race. He thinks merc and rb are still clearly faster than the rest.

Watching this not long after it was posted and listening to their conversations about vettel when he now has covid 😂

From just listening alone I had to remind myself constantly it wasn’t TRL Limitless

Dear F1, please can we get rid of Monaco? The cars are too big to overtake, the only people who enjoy it are the yacht set in the harbour. There must be other tracks in/near France that would provide actual races, as opposed to pole shootouts followed by t29-hour traffic jams.
