Finally my new home is done! Today I cooked Crispy Pata and grilled some vegetables and invited my family to eat dinner inside the kubo. We ate the pata with rice and some sweet pineapples. We laughed together and we enjoyed every single minute together. Hope you too are doing just fine! Keep smiling gagayyem! Thank you for the support! Of course that house was built to enhance his filming. Not everything that you see here is real. It’s like a “set” for his videos. Video is magic it transports you to a place where the producer wants to bring you. Not necessarily his real life.

@@viceganda2493 Hindi ko alam kung ano ako, pero gusto ko itong buhay, meron lupa sa Ilocos pero maliit lang at parang siksikan lang ako, mahal ngayon ang lupa sa Ilocos po, so bumili ako sa Visaya sa Bohol, I would love to have this kind of buhay, mag pa tayo ng kawayan house at lutuan, kelan kaya mangyari ito, but looking forward to it 💙🌺. As I’ve observed marami po tao sa Visaya hindi sila inspired mag buhay ng ganito. Wala ako nakita nga incentive to plant gulay so hindi na kailangan bumili at walang incentive sila mag work, contento sila sa pagkain nga mahingi sa familia at mag anak ng marami, I don’t understand why, kc ung mga bata nag suffer sa lack of resources nga hindi nila man lang e effort to acquire…so sad.

Nung 2020 Pandemic ito yung ninais ko na buhay balang araw. Andito padin ako sa buhay lungsod, nagiipon at naghahanda sa pagbalik. Pero habang tumatagal naisip ko yung “makuntento ka sa meron ka” eh yung dapat dala2x mo kahit saan ka man magawi. Thanks for reminding me that. I can relate to your story. My late grandfather was a farmer. My elder brother and I rode in carabaos going to the rice field.and bathed them. Later my grandpa calls us and accompany him in catching fish with his fish net at the creek .Those memories are priceless. Love to live in the countryside where life is simple and quiet. Pastor Brian, are the people in Indonesia hospitable too? That’s one great trait of Filipinos - they are very hospitable & will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I hope one day, you get the chance to visit my native Phillipines too.

Yup...and then your joint pains start to reminding you that you are old-that you need hospitalization and the ease and accessibility of necessities in the city and civilized world...And you have made bonds with people (a spouse, children, friends, etc) who have been used to the life in the city...You wake up from your nap and realized everything has changed...Going back to the simple life in the Philippine countryside remains just that-A WISHFUL THOUGHT!
