Join me as we fish the Abacos, Bahamas for blue and white marlin. Fishing the month of April fishing was hot, plenty fish around especially big fish. After getting hard learnt lessons using light tackle and losing a number of fish, we decided to pull out the Alutecnos 80s and our largest lures and try run down a big blue marlin. After losing two fish over 500lbs we eventually managed to land a couple of fish in the 200lb range and smaller.
We fished aboard a 38'ft Donnie Caison which made for a fantastic nimble platform. Perfect speed and size which allowed us to cover a large area.
