I have never thrown away loose trash in my life. We have the recycle bin where I live so if it’s something that can’t fit in a bag, it’s usually my broken down cardboard that’s going into the recycling bin or something I’m supposed to haul to the dump myself. Your city has you trashing everything for people! Totally nuts!

Why do i get a ticket when i do it but sop for companies?

We get alot of wind up here too. The police and sheriff's deputies have been known to write a littering ticket for it to so all we can do is try to control it as much as we can. What else can you do ?

I’m guessing only people that can’t afford garbage bags are the ones that don’t bag it. Because why else would someone want a dirty trash can right outside their house?

Honestly I thinks so much litter is not people being pure a**holes carelessly throwing garbage on the ground. but this scenario where collection spills over. It’s inevitable but bagging and tying is not hard. Yet my neighbors can not be bothered to tie their trash. And they use draw string bags. I will never understand them.

I agree, what I find ridiculous is the recycling company in my area won’t take bagged recycling, they left mine once and I had to wait 2 weeks for the next pickup with it overflowing

People just take of your trash, it is not that hard!

Get a second can or reduce your waste then and bags are cheap 10 cents per bag from Costco so less than a dollar a week

And not every truck has a lid for the hopper, bagged garbage doesn’t blow out of the truck if it’s covered or not
