A great tribute. It covered Julie's contribution to broadway, cinema, shows, etc. to up to 1989, date of the tribute. As always, Julie Andrews is a great actress, singer, humanitarian, writer, and most of all a wonderful considerate person. Love you, Julie.

Good begets good. You can tell what a force of nature she is. Such sincere and glowing tributes.

Carol Burnett 1989: "You know, when they start giving you awards like this, it's almost over." Boy, was the prediction wrong. 33 years later, I just watched (June 2022) the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award festivities for Julie Andrews, and she is still very popular not only for her past work but for her current work doing voice-overs. I take that back - very popular is inadequate. She's adored by fans and fellow workers.

Carol Burnett is Julia’s best friend. One of her closest friends, that was a joke… they’ve been working together since the early 60s.
