My Guy! Nice content as usual. As a Nigerian, I grew up watching several South Africans who stood tall in their careers overseas, and made all of Africa proud....the likes of Steven Pienaar, Aaron Mokoena, Shaun Bartlet, Mark Fish, Lucas Radebe, Benny Mccarthy etc. Recently, CAF assembled some of them, alongside other African greats, during the AFCON 2023. We need to see more of them in Sports events, TV and other media presentation as we celebrate them. They are the ones that put Africa on the world Football map. Notwithstanding the ones who didnt impress, I hope that more South Africans showcase the stuff we Africans are made of, out there in the world. That reminds me, whatever happened to Siyabonge Nomvete? He remains one of my favourite Ex Bafana Bafana players!

Thank you so much for your continued support and being a valued member of our community. SA did well on the past but we have regressed alot since then. Right now we are in a process of rebuilding and our team isnt too bad, but it's now where near the level of Nigeria. Nomvethe is currently a coach now on the psl, but he is a legend because he played all the way till the age of 40

For me its Phakamani Mahlambi , Ayanda Patosi and Lehlogonolo Masalesa . I think these 3 had the highest potential after the Benni McCarthy generation . Pity they never fulfilled their potential . May Mahlangu started like a house on fire to the point where Sweden were thinking of making him a citizen to so he can play for Sweden. I will never understand why he couldnt even manage to get a club at La Liga ,EPL,Ligue 1,Portugese League ,Serie A or even the first division teams of those countries. Instead he ended up in Kazakhstan .

@hunkzilla thank you so much for tuning in. You are absolutely right about those 3. May was great and was even courted by Arsenal at some point, but he got a serious injury before the move and never quite bounced back. Similar to Rushine de Reuck when he got injured just before Celtic on Scotland wanted to buy him.
