Tell u one thing..she got more of a backbone than eldred..or whatever his name is..it just always seems he's the one holding the camera and she's the one doing the dirty work...I mean..she's getting bit multiple times..is the one holding the dog..and she's trying to put leash on him...guy is more concerned about getting the shot than he is trying to get control of dog...

It was great that you showed the bite, and the reaction to the bite. Sometimes you can't save a dog without getting bit, and it just comes with the territory. The fact that Loreta was not angry with the dog about the bite was great to show the dog was just scared, not inherently dangerous.

bennitori4 I honestly wouldn't fault someone far feeling a bit angry or scared, since it is a natural response that not everyone can hold back. Not hurting the animal, but just expressing frustration or fear. It makes Loreta's response pretty special.

You can watch Noels amazing work on YT. Look at his amazing implanted prosthesis he makes for animals. And they have both the same touch to the animal!

He instantly won my heart when he started wagging the tail in the car and then even play.

Loreta is a real life hero. She is one to always step up and never let go without helping the dogs even if she is injured.

Loreta Frankonyte, this name already sounds like from a super-heroine and she even behaves like one! Gets bitten, covered in feces, dragged around by giant doggos but still keeps going and is so loving and gentle towards all these animals, it's really inspiring. I really admire her!

Hayley Smith they actually said that where they found him was in the middle of nowhere. So you really think he would of just wondered all the way in to the countryside where there’s not a town in site. He’s paws probably either been bitten by a coyote or ran over by a car. Either way yes dogs don’t wonders miles & miles away from civilization. He was definitely dumped there.

Actually it's not all that uncommon for dogs to get lost out in the middle of nowhere. Camping trips, day hikes gone wrong or even running off from a rest area along the interstate have all ended with dogs getting lost. It's clear that at one time he was a pet, and, despite his distrust early on, he's obviously very happy to be back with people. If he really was dumped then I'm right there with you, but it is possible that his ending up out there was entirely by accident. Either way I'm just really glad to see that he's safe now.

I can't imagine the pain the puppy felt with his sore leg, and his tail was still wagging! He is such a brave and sweet dog.

I wouldn’t mind having a scar for that reason. It shows the bravery given for that effort of saving an animal that needs help.

It’s amazing how loving these dogs are when they have been mistreated and dumped. Yes he was so scared and it was his only way of defending himself but what a sweetheart he turned out to be.

The veterinarian probably used anesthetics, antibiotics, and other drugs, but he is licensed to do so, and so they were not illegal.

This reminded me of a rescue Eldad did alone in his early youtube videos. A dog bite him, but then when Eldad brought her savely to the car she licked Eldad's injured hand on the way to the vet. That was really sweet.

Amanda B She had to do something. I know it was wrong. I hate when a dog gets abused. But they couldn't risk for dog to get away and hurt himself. Now he is okay. And she didn't choke him. If she had a choice I'm sure she wouldn't have done it. She was just holding him. And they saved him. So don't make a problem out of this.

Amanda B that's what you need to do to save the poor things life. It's cruel I know but she did what she had to do to save the dog. Every time they do that they end up taking it somewhere safe and then it gets a forever home. That's what's good about them actually doing that. Although it might hurt the animal, it's what's good for the people and the animals.

Omg, that had to hurt like hell. You are an amazing woman, Loreta! Eldad and Hope for Paws, keep doing what you do for all to beautiful, innocent souls. They, unfortunately, need you. My prayer is one day groups like yours will no longer be needed because humans will no longer treat them so poorly.

How can you not love Loreta? The girl gets bitten multiple times, doesn't let go, doesn't make a sound... then ends up picking the same dog up with such a beautiful happy smile on her face. She is a true angel.

50 seconds in and you have turned this cold, unemotional metal-head into an emotional wreck, no animal deserves this, my heart breaks for this little dog, i wish i could save every single one of them. When he stepped forward for more food i lost it even more, it kills me inside watching this. It's amazing how they take their time away just to save an animal, I truly appreciate you and and other rescuers, but it's so sad how people just abuse Animals.

Loreta, you are a hero! And of course Eldad has gotten some bites, too, and still you both go out along with other volunteers to save these dogs. This little guy was so pitiful it broke my heart, and to see him so happy and running around on his bad leg is so rewarding! Thank you for all you do!

Yea she is by far the one that gets bite the most. Have seen 5 vids in my marathon of watching hope for paws where she was bitten and didn't faze her once. Wiped it off and went right back at it. A real woman that is filled with overwhelming compassion.

I was crying really hard watching this video 😭. Partly because poor Washington was so scared but mostly because even though he was biting Loreta she wouldn’t let go. This shows what kind of person she is, beautiful on the inside AND outside!!! God bless you all!! ❤❤❤❤

I think you should where thick gloves over your hands when u might have to do something extreme to trap them. try to keep yourself safe while keeping our fury friends safe PLEASE! Most of the dislikes are old people that don't realize that Dislike doesn't help the channel, They are just expressing that they do not enjoy watching the animal suffer....Old people what are yah gonna do.

it is people who dislike themselves and are miserable so they hate to see happy endings their live by "misery loves company" so they try to down grade a good thing like this, just pray for those people that they can find some happiness

cmon dont be mean to eachother. Just look at the ratio of likes to dislikes and be happy. thousands of people like to tens (not tens of thousands, just less than 100) dislike.

Alicia Savitskoff Yes you can, for example you can donate to animal shelters/organisations, not use makeup products that test on animals, foster animals, adopt animals from shelters, even going vegan saves animals, the list can go on. If we all do this we can help and save so many innocent animals :-)

Sadly the only way to test medicins are on animals (and people) .. i study animal care this moment and thinking of working at a place were they test them as caregiver. Not that i support them but Because i want to give them the most love that they can get

I want Loreta to rescue ME! But no, I wouldn't want to take any time from saving the precious fubabies. I just read about her life & WOW. What it must be like to be blessed with that kind of beauty, talent, support for her dreams and sweet, expansive spirit! It's a rare thing.

he may have got away , in 1992 my mom found a tiny 3 lb yorkie in her yard, she was recently groomed and had blue painted toenails, so she wasn't out for longshe looked for 3 months to find the owner , no one ever claimed herso I drove to ohio to get her, she was about 3 at that time and I had her for 15 more years, she was juts over 18 when she passed, I always wondered if someone had a broken heart because they lost her and never found hershe had the most spoiled life and was a total diva and was a blessing but I wish I knew how she came to be in my moms yard and hope if she got out and lost that the owner by grace of god knew she was loved and cared for

I love these videos this is what I want to do in my spare time when I'm older and not busy I love dogs and so far all dogs I met didn't hurt me. I calmed down a very skittish husky and the owner found me and told me I was the only one who he ever let anybody get near

my mom is not a fan of pets because their **to much work** even though I offer to take care of them. I have a dog cat and fish I take care of all of them. (Except I can't walk my dog because she is very strong so someone else needs to do it or I get pulled away XD)
