I think selling unbans is ok as long as the server screenshares, and when bl doesnt until a player gets ban its gonna get so hard to ban them again

Agree. Badlion should screenshare and partner with either code66 or Atlas. Both are great ss tools and it doesn't waste players time.

The reason why it isn't fair is because it favors the rich cheaters, and if they can buy multiple of these ban reductions they will never learn their lesson.

I think if your ban is permanent then you can buy an unban but must wait a week before the unban you buy works, so its not “you get banned then you buy a unban and your on the server in a matter of minutes “

They mean that if you get ipbannned (which means forever), you shouldn't​ be able to just buy an unban right after getting banned. They believe that even though they can buy an unban that is supposed to be forever (hence no unban date), they still have some sort of punishment.

I got false banned 4 times every time was in pot pvp ffa and I am bad at potpvp and that was a year ago so all I did was hold w btw I got new internet and used a different account

First of all, not everyone has the recourses to buy their way out of a ban, so how is that equally fair? Second: there's a difference between jail and prison. In jail you haven't been judged yet, and our society works like "not guilty the the opposite is proven". Prison on the other hand is when you have been judged, and by then, you can't buy your way out. So it is far from the same. I do agree that when a players gets banned, it should be an IP ban, though they should still get a second chance. And after that it's simply permanent. If they know a ban will exclude them from the community, it might make them think again on their second chance.

I don't think giving 2nd chances is a good idea at all, just look at the number of cheaters on the server, people don't care if they get banned because they know they will get unbanned if they plead guilty. Like mentally said, all they have to do to keep playing is buy an alt which literally costs 50 cents or even less these days, then once your ban time expires they can literally cheat again. In reality they get 3 chances by this system which is not a good thing at all And a direct ip ban on first offense is a bit too harsh since there are people who actually get false banned

I got false banned, but the Mods say : Unban requests declined I am banned since 5 Months for alleged cheating.

Maybe for bans you can have it as that if you cheat on 1 account it gets banned but if you cheat on both, the server waits and saves any IP used by those accounts and ,maybe 1 week later, perm bans those IPs and accounts

i think that the first time someone hacks and gets banned they should be allowed to appeal and get unbanned. If they hack again than I don't think they should be allowed to appeal because if you cheat once and you learn your lesson than you probably wont hack again. I used to hack and I ended up getting banned on badlion which was a year ago. Since then I have never hacked.

i just wanna say to add to your points: if you get banned and you don’t want to buy an unban, you can still play on badlion WHILE banned if you’re using BLC, so if you don’t have enough money or if you just don’t want to buy and unban, there is an option that may be foreign to you: play legit on BLC

I agree with what you said, but there should always be other routes to unbans (outside of paying), and I think there should be a limit to the number of unbans. You don't want someone back after their 2nd or 3rd time cheating.

Another reason why this is bad, is because how much time will the staff waste. Imagine them using 3 hours on a ban for the player just to get unbanned.

You dont have to buy a new router to change your ip....i just restart my router and my ip changes

An awesome video, I think all bans should be IP bans. Alot of big servers with similar game mode types do it that way. Also, I thought to sell unbans is against Mojang/Minecraft EULA.

And with IP banning all players, this is bad for many reasons. Firstly, I got false forum banned on an alt around two years ago. If all bans were an IP ban, I would have never had the opportunity to become a UHC Host because of being IP banned from the whole network. Secondly, as you mentioned, IP evading is extremely easy. Either get a dynamic IP or buy a new router and now your un-IP banned. Why go through the extra hassle to cause issues like the one listed above.

It is way easier to not get ip banned mentally if u have a dynamic IP and u get banned on ur main u just restart it a few times and there u go a complete new IP then if u get banned on a alt just do it again IP bans are legit not existing for people with dynamic ips

And one of my friends got up banned but it doesn't show that he is up banned on his profile and he can't appeal and he had bought lion + perma and maxed out community uhc addons I don't understand badlion

I think there should be ip bans and not account bans. I say this because I have been hacked before and it sucks. There is a few servers I have never played that I can't play because of this. Which it why it makes me paranoid thinking about perm bans for something you never did. So if the true hacker's ip gets banned instead of the account, it would be better. The hacker can choose to appeal this if they want. I have never hacked ever and I will continue to support and play Badlion. Thanks for reading.

Turning Badlion into Ultra will kill it. Badlion has a high percentage of cheaters, but so does every other competitive PvP server. The one positive of selling unbans is because it creates more revenue. However, it creates a much worse atmosphere and community with the idea that a ban is not something permanent.

To be honest, the "buy an unban" thing could be a success if you make the system similar to ultra. You get perm banned and blacklisted for 2 months, and after that you can buy unbans. Unbans should cost about 80€ so at least there's a medium level penalty to join back. The "all ip ban" thing, I personally don't agree with it.

You have to realize that Minecraft community is a mostly KIDSS and kids don’t have jobs which probably means they don’t have money. And with no money is no unban. And also I think everyone should have a second chance so what if it’s not like real life and relates to prison, Minecraft should be a game that gets you away from real life.

The forum system needs to be changed. Many falsebans from gcheat and you cant really appeal if you do not have evidence to prove that you are not cheating . Alot of people including myself don't record their games due to many reasons, mine being my computer is really bad . So we have to falsely admit and wait the 3 months . It's really annoying for legit players to be false ban and at least not have an option to be screenshared. I strongly disagree for first time ip bans, unless the forum systems change for the people that get false banned and have no proof to be presented an option to screenshare or another form that proves they are legit. Literally my friend got false banned, had no proof and the staff said "you're cheating" and banned him perm what kind of b.s. is that. Some people can't buy an unban even if that was implemented. Why would you if you got falsebanned that isn't right

They raise the bail of prisoners who can easily buy themselves out in real life. So players who have easy access to money to just drop for an unban can do that.

Daniel, I love your content and am glad that you are an admin, but I was banned in the Badlion Judgement day 11, but I was never banned on badlion before. I tried appealing, but I am an idiot. I appealed saying I was guilty of cheating. I checked my punishments and I only had mutes. If the many nutes I have is why I got banned, I understand, and will except my punishment, but if it isn't, is it possible that I could be unbanned. I have nothing against the server. I LOVE IT, but I am just bummed that I was perm banned and cant appeal cuz I screwed up. If you can help me, that would be great, I totally understand if you cant because its outside your power, or I was legitimately banned. I have nothing against badlion I am just asking a possibly complicated request, thanks for taking time to read this.
