I've been eyeing some of these standing mowers. I'd definitely add some AG/Bar tires to it. I think the Ag tires are the way most all mowers need to have.

I appreciate the time you took for this review, however I would have like to know several other things like: how easy is it to replace a broken belt in the field, how is the spread when it discharges the grass, how well does it stripe, does it have the vanguard oil system, can you get a push bar with this model, does the engine go up and down with the height of the deck, how easy is it to change the oil and hydraulic fluid, how easy is it to access the pulley system under the toolbox, how accurate is the cut with the indicated height set by the factory (ie. is a deck height of 21/2 inches truly a 21/2 inches from the ground to the edge of the blades), how does it ride compared in general and when compared to other brands, how easy is it to reach the oil filter or battery, when cutting at higher speeds does it effect the cut quality (are there a lot of stragglers left behind), how sensitive are the hydraulics? These are some really important things that I would like to see you discuss in order to get a good idea of what we may be expected to see with this machine when it comes to performance. Thank you for your consideration good sir, and once again thank you for taking the time to share your current thoughts.

@@banshee2see Yes sir, I’m actually going into the landscaping business and I have decided to use only stand on commercial mowers and I’m trying to find out as much as I can about all the different brands. It’s a bit overwhelming with all that I have to try to look up. I definitely want all of our trucks to be uniformed so I will only be purchasing one brand of mower. It helps to get feedback from good folks such as yourself because most of the reviews I have been finding on KZread are sponsored by manufacturers of the mower and those can’t truly be trusted. Thank you again so much for all you do.

If you want to cut turf make sure you have a mechanical background. Field repairs sometimes need to be done. Generic question: how many of the owners can actually name the variety of turf they are cutting? Don't mean to be abrasive but this is not a business that is easy to maintain. I can say this as I have been in this industry & owner for 42 years. Wish all the best this is a very tough business

You need a Wright Zk. They will stick to virtually any hill. Their center of gravity is much lower, because the engine lowers with the deck. I used to use Skag's and Toro's mostly, and nothing is like the Wright.

@romanrunner-kb6be Hey thanks for the comment I did look at those and I did like how the engine lowered but there was a few things I didn't like but it's been a year or so and can't remember haha. Maybe it was shorter when standing on it but something didn't feel right. 🤷‍♂️

Looking at ordering a new 61” with the same motor. Curious if you think these have any issues with tearing up nice grass with stock tires and if the 61 is really that much worse for scalping? Have a lot of open lots so bigger deck makes sense for me if quality is there still

@keynanwilliams7783 Hey thanks for watching and the stock tires don't tear up really they still have a really close tread pattern and that is my issue haha. I like to mow sideways on my hill and it slides down in a couple spots so that's why I need even more aggressive. The 61 will be perfect for most areas I just have 2 acres I mow at house with some dips and valleys and 54 is better but then I mow 2 more acres of field and that's where the 61 would still be nice!

I just purchased a Revolt 54 brand new, and the deck shakes at full throttle. I sent it straight back to the dealer, and they are trying to tell me that it is normal for the deck to shake. I feel like that can't be right. Does your mower run smoothly with the blades engaged at full throttle?

@mch2024 Hey thanks for comment! Deck doesn't shake they have a blade or bearing out of balance I am assuming. Sorry to hear ☹️
