That's punk rock for you, all bases are covered. PSA: "When you call costumer service, the person at the other end of the phone just might be... a punk rocker. Is your landlord suspiciously chill with you missing the deadline on your rent and he's fixing your problems with DIY methods even though they require a professional plumber? Then your landlord just might be... a punk rocker. Ever tried to get a bank loan but the person in charge of your application tells you you'll get a better deal at another bank? Then your banker just might be... a punk rocker. Punk rockers come in all shapes and sizes."
What a great Singer and Frontman Greg Graffin is.. Great lyrics, great voice, great presence - Just an amazing band!!
This DVD took about 10-11 hours to upload. I started the upload in the evening and it was ready in the morning.

I just love how raw Greg's voice sounds here.
Love Greg! the only punk rock icon to have four wardrobe changes in a two minute song!
This shot of Jay at 10:32 is the most Jay thing ever. His expressiveness really drives the sound home that much harder. Kinda crazy that it's been over 30 years since this was recorded and Jay still acts the exact same at shows. He loves this shit lol
the soundtrack of my senior year in high school
Pete was tearing those drums up, especially in Politics. Pete will still be the best drummer BR has ever had. Very underrated drummer and way better than many other popular drummers.
@ImNotGregGraffin

He was my favourite drummer. Even though other drummers like Bobby, Brooks and Jamie are much more technically-competent drummers, there’s something so charming and raw about Pete’s blistering, hellbent, lack of professionalism that I really associate with the BR sound
I bought the VCR tape a long time ago, then the DVD and I still love the fact that the whole thing is on KZread. Best band in the planet.

My absolute favorite drummer for Bad Religion. Just raw, relentless, hard-hitting power. On the slower songs he's not as interesting as, say, Brooks Wackerman, but this super fast version of Bad Religion is my favorite anyway, and he was perfect for that!

love watching the footage of these old shows to see what shirts they were wearing at the time. so far i saw a ramones, a pre-90’s NOFX, motorhead, cbgb’s and 4 different Bad Religion shirts. that’s a good idea on the road. nothing clean? raid the merch.
The best live material I’ve seen ever! 🔥🛹💪🏼
This is so prophetic to see & hear Greg talking about playing punk rock when he's old! He's old now. It's almost 2020, they're touring with ALK3, also one of my all-time favorite bands! Granted ALK3 wasn't even thought about when this original video cassette came out. I had this in 1991, I believe. Still awesome to watch it now, at nearly 50 years of age myself!!

I've recently turned 19, and I must say, every single lyric Greg sings seems to get more and more relevant to me each time I hear it, I wish I could've experienced it when they were brand new, but I'll be a fan until the day I die.
They deserve way more credit than they are getting not to mention how bad religion set the standard for every puck based band of this era. And to think front man of this band wasn't a full time job as it was putinng out new albums with every year, touring the world , then goes to Cornell university gets his masters degree and PhD Dr. Greg Graffin , I have learned a lot from your music .

They were mentioned in a textbook I had for a college music history class. I made a big deal about it and the instructor let me lead the class for the discussion of this era and type of music.
still give me shivers - after all these years. does it get any better? nope.
I slam wore this tape out in my VCR back in the day... YA HEY!
Dude this is one of my favorite concerts to watch!! This is raw the way it ought to be!!!!
My Opinion Bad Religion Is The Rolling Stones Of Punk Rock I Dont See No Quit In Them They Been Through So Many Members But Graffin Still Stould True
I used to watch this tape EVERY SINGLE DAY for months!
I like his drumming. Its cool. That wop does a good job
this period of Bad Religion is the one I prefer (Suffer + No Control)

Ce DVD est une merveille ! J'ai la chance d'avoir Greg Graffin qui me l'a dédicacé après un concert . La quintessence du punk par un de ces meilleurs groupes .
This shows are the Best bad religion performances. That sounds of music was so good and remember us of sounds of punk rock's 80's. After that decade, bad religion's music was so close to 90's mainstrean. I only love the band with that sound that music and that intensity and shows's energy
Hetson is playing Frogger with his life
The only band i know whose live performances sound better that recordings
Best Punk Rock band Ever!!!!
Man these tickets jam I wish I had been able to. See them with the Offspring when they were here in West Palm Beach!! That won't happen the next time they come, The Offspring ducking rock too!!! Damn it!!!!!
I was about 10 or 11 years old when a television channel broadcast this concert one night, this must have been 20 years ago. I had no idea what it was about, I didn't know anything about Bad Religion, punk or anything, but it caught my attention. The music I heard for the first time shook something very strongly inside me. Years passed, many years, and I was introduced to this whole culture, I learned, I got to know, and I am part of it. The thing is that I spent years looking for that concert that I vaguely remembered, but I gave up over time. Tonight, suddenly and out of nowhere, I find it again and feel like that time. Thank you so much for sharing it. 👊
It is damn sad that no one at the moment can link the fire from bad religion
thank you so much for this upload. fantastic. ive been a fan of this band for 20+ years, and i dont think any other band in the world can carry on like bad religion.
If only I still had the dubbed VHS copy of this that was passed around my circle in '90. Tapes of this and like Jane's Addiction Soul Kiss and GWAR Live from Antactica were among the VHS gems that were constantly in rotation at high school parties back then.
This sounds great. Thanks for uploading it.
i was happy to finally see this in full ...includeing the interviews

16:32, the interviewer's tone makes it more of an interrogation than an interview, I was expecting him to throw a bucket of water on Brett, then slap the truth out of him...
Best time!
thank you for that uploading, so much memories for me, i used to watch this show like everyday 20 years ago!! :)
Awesome video
19:30 he talks about being too bald and too fat to be on stage, and that somebody could be kind to tell him, and a kid did it in a show in Spain or something like that, and he kicked the kid out of the stage, it was epic.

I met Greg last year and aside from a little belly he was in pretty damn good shape. You can tell he works out because he had arms like an iron worker and he's very tall. At least 6'3". He doesn't give a shit what people think of his appearance hence why he stopped dying his hair and just let go gray. He's all about the music. That's the real punk attitude not giving a flying fuck what anyone says or thinks.

Scintillα he's far from 5'9". When I met him I asked him and he said he's between 6'2"-6'3" which is accurate cause I'm 6'5" 1/2 and I had at least 3 inches over him and about 2 over Jay who is 6'4". I used to be 6'6" but shrunk after back surgery.

duuude, thank you so much, i love you
Saw them for the first time a few years ago in Malmö, Sweden (at Kulturbolaget) even though I've listened to them in my teens. And it was amazing. Either the air conditioner at the venue didn't work that evening or the crowd generated such a heat we were all sweating like pigs. At the end there were puddles of sweat (possibly some spilled beer as well) on the floor and I was hoarse for a few days from singing along all the songs.
excellent merci :)
I used to have that Trial Area vhs video of that tour in Germany. Classic BR stuff indeed. It's great to have it here!

Love the start. Just love it. It is for private and domestic use only. internet you are guilty.
The interviews are really something. “So you were addicted to crack, how was that” ? Lol
This was the video that made me want to play fast drums in this style, I was playing more of the Screeching Weasel style but when I saw this video I was like 🤯.
Holy shit, this is fucking good.
Those days were so much fun. College parties, derelict parties, parties at the cemeteries. Pretty much parties everywhere. Even followed Bad Religion up and down the west coast like a deadhead. I got arrested at one of their shows, for disturbing the peace in the mosh pit. Crowd control didn't like it when I threw him in the pit during "Do What You Want", so I did. It was on campus and Freeborn Hall was full of campus cops. I did get to see Mad Caddies full set. You can also see me next to the blonde on the barricade on Live at the Palladium. You'll know which blonde im talking about.
Jay Bentley or however he spells it is a very underated bassist.
Good ol` days :D
The best writers in HC/punk rock as far as my opinion goes, NoFX and Pennywise are good too.
I used to have a lossless audio rip of this, can anyone send me such a thing? I consider it to be my favorite Bad Religion album, unofficially. Hearing all those 80-85 tracks played in Suffer style, and hearing more raw takes on the Suffer tracks without the oozin aahs, and the t shirts changing every five seconds and Hetson jumping 10 feet high every other clip and Brett talking about smoking crack. BR at their most hardcore sounding. Only way it could have been better is by throwing in No Control and ATG tracks. Still, maybe the ultimate Bad Religion experience.
Damn this gave me flashbacks,, of being a skater, in LA CA Alhambra Skating with lance mountain, having my own punk band at 15 We were called Defiance, 15 14 16 yrolds Writing lyrics guitar, bad religon was my favorite punkband, its kinda skate rock skate punk to me. Seeing bad religion at the country club in reseda with my homies, gettin that suffer shirt gtimes
A well oiled machine.
Thanks, I had this tape but she mocked hahaha ..... I love this tape
