Please continue to pray for our little town in Central Oregon. The fire is spreading rapidly (2,700 acres) and is threatening a subdivision. They are at 30% containment, but the wind is picking up. I mix a block of cream cheese with a jar of marshmallow fluff to make use in the layers of my trifle. It’s absolutely delicious. I use it for a fruit dip also. I love the fun your family has while working together. ❤ My steak has to be done. My husband loves his medium well.

I don't know if y'all have a chicken salad chick nearby but they have this grape salad (that's more like dessert) that my family loves. We make a pretty close dupe for it using that cream cheese fruit dip. Just mix it into your plucked and washed grapes and then top each serving with a generous sprinkle of brown sugar and finely chopped pecans. It's so good 🥰

In the old days when I used to eat steak , 60 years ago, I ate my steak "very well done." One time in a fancy restaurant, I asked for ketchup with my steak! The CHEF came out "You will not put ketchup on my steak" I replied softly, well, it is going in my stomach. I got my ketchup and never did that again, Dumb youth that I was. My first KitchenAid lasted 20 years, was still going strong but I needed a big one. I found a refurbished one the day after Christmas a few years back. My mom got it for me. I put the big motor to good use in canning season with the food mill attachment. Sissy will be using that KitchenAid some day, they’re worth the investment!

There is a Sara Lee poundcake that’s in the frozen section. I make that trifle that you made with that poundcake, and it cuts perfectly into little cubes and it’s so delicious. Also, one package of cream cheese , a can of sweetened condensed milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Soooooo good!!!
