It's either that grey Chrysler or the white M5. They also like to patrol between Bathurst and Oberon down O'Connell Rd, and sit just at the intersection of O'Connell Rd and Beaconsfield Rd, just before you get to O'Connell pub from Bathurst.

My dad grew up in Bathurst. He also got to put the radio links in for The Great Race every year (80's) for Telecom. He used to tell a story where he was doing some work on The Mount and decided to give the Telecom truck a bit of a squirt along the top of the mountain. Little did he know that the local constabulary was holding their "how do we deal with the mob up here on race day" meeting. So, here's my dad, in a Telecom truck, screaming along the top of the mountain, blowing past all these cops. He said, when he realized they were there, he slowed down and pulled over, knowing he was busted. He said he looked in the rear-view mirror and it was just like in the cartoons. Cop car after cop car came out of the gate, sirens wailing. He said it would be funny if it wasn't so serious. Somehow or other though, he managed to talk his way out of a ticket....... Now, we all thought this was rubbish. Always did. Until I was giving his eulogy a few years ago, where I retold this story. In the crowd, I could see one of his old work mates laughing along with his wife. After the service, that bloke and his wife came up to apologize for laughing. He told me why he was laughing. That work mate was sitting next to the old man on that day, and said the whole story was true.

​@@SeAn-jd9cl Yes I was and I told Scotty I might deserve a spanking for it but the left lane on Maroondah Highway heading to Ringwood gets crazy congested especially with late merging (as with the car ahead) for the Eastlink on-ramp to the city or Ringwood shopping centres ahead and I already had cars close behind. It was a marginal situation so just decided it was best to keep going.

I swear drunk drivers are magnetically drawn towards signs. They always hit them.

Hi all Good there is one sign back video rear view show steh back of it , and the road marking and other signs are pre and post clip, thats why i put the note on the video saying its a bus only lane , its the M2 motorway in sydney if you wanted to check it out :)

11:15 - One speed limit sign says 60 and the other speed limit says 70. I don't see the confusion. I'd always drive at the lower speed limit (in this case, 60) and then you won't get done for speeding. Pretty simple really!

Hi i never miss anything ;) , yes learner can't lane filter but as ride on the shoulder is not lane filtering as you can't do that with a full licence, they didn't lane filter in the video so only one fine :)

@10:30. Is that a Bus Only Lane or a Bus Lane. Those are the two types of bus lanes in NSW. Motorcycles are allowed to use a Bus Lane, but not a Bus Only Lane.

AS Explained in the video that was a Bus ONLY lane , motorcycle riders are not allowed to use them only lanes marked as “bus lanes” :)

13:15 and sadly even if there WAS a red light camera, chances are it would be snapping a pic from the front...and there’s no identification plate on the front of a bike........

Sadly couldn’t find the clip to link, but I recall james may on top gear (back when it was good)...about some new average speed cameras on the highways over there which may claimed he approved of...when asked why he said “cos those cameras are forward facing...and there’s no number plate on the front of a bike...so when I get to those (mimics motorcycle throttle with one hand and 🖕🏻with the other)

@@ilikechickensausages2075 LOL! WTF? Ever heard of a thing called, 'EMPHASIS'? Well that's 1 of the reason for caps! Nothing 'random'! Not my fault people do not know how to read! As to MY driving, well, yes, I do, alm 30 years! Various vehicles inc trucks etc! As to 'fines' only 1 (which was commuted) for turning once where I shouldn't have @ the wrong time of the day! THAT is the extent of my offending. Never gained a demerit point, never paid a fine, Held a licence continuously since 1993! Does THAT answer your questions, Chicken Sausages? :o)
