Bad Drivers of Philadelphia 2
Ойын-сауық
Ever since the pandemic began, I've been driving less. I haven't been going out, essentially; the good part of that is my car has been preserved from more miles, but the bad part is less videos. That's not all, however. I've seen some awful driving not in this video, and that is because I witnessed it by bicycle. In the city, biking can be much more pragmatic than driving, so that's what I tend to do. I don't plan on making videos from my bike, but if you want me to, send me a GoPro and I'll put it on my helmet :)
I said last time in the description that I understand when people think I'm driving aggressively. I'm an emotional person, I can be moody. My driving style isn't always linear. Sometimes a bad day pushes me to some mild road rage. However, it's obvious my driving style has changed in some ways over the years. Now I find myself caring less about the actions of other drivers unless it has something to do with my personal safety. "Bad things happen in Philadelphia," and they can numb you.
I'm gonna try to put together some 4K real-time driving videos of Philadelphia soon. I'll start with the basics: center city and the popular sites. If viewers want to see the ghettos, I'll drive around there too, within reason. Engage in the comment section, give me your feedback. I'm thankful for everyone that supports me.

0:34 I can’t believe that motorcycle driver is riding in the rain without a jacket. Oh and how a car is casually spinning out.

Thanks for doing this series for Philadelphia. I live in PA about an hour and a half from Philly in a small rural town and im thinking about moving there once I graduate college. So I love to see what I will be expecting if I do move there haha

You would think they'd put up a "Wrong Way" or a "Do Not Enter" sign a little more up front where it can be easily seen from the intersection.

1:29 Jersey plate. Figures. Wait, was that actually in Jersey? 1:37 wow the horn sounded so good there! 6:46 really surprised at the lack of honking there. Great episode! I can attest from the few times I've driven in Philly, the drivers really are something else. A lot of time it feels like the rules are just suggestions. I can see why you'd be sort of numbed to it after having more experience driving in a place like that.

@@BadDriversofMaryland I had a feeling it was NJ just from the Cherry Hill signs. It's good to stay calm while driving. I've sure learned it's a lot less stressful if you let things slide.

YAAAS QUEEN. THANKS!!
I don't know when you changed it, but I love the new pfp.
I'll take bad drivers in Philly vs bad drivers in DC with all those speed cameras any day. Already started with work zones and the boulevard up here though.
4:39 and this is exactly how he got the dent!
I've had performance cars my entire life, starting with my first car up until today. That's 30 years of Z28's, Trans am's, Chevelle SS, Mustang GT and so on. During that time I've seen some bad things on the road, including drivers who think they can drive but clearly can't, drivers who think they're in a video game passing everyone to be first at the next red light, doing 100 down side streets and the list goes on. I'd like personally thank you little idiots in your 4cyl cars and hopped up POS BMWs that by the way sound like a wet fart, you're the reason why they put red light and speed cameras all along Rt 1, in a way it was worth it.
Since I’ve moved here 5 months ago, I feel the need to get a dashcam lol. The drivers here are some of the worst I’ve ever seen! Idk how many near collisions I’ve avoided smh

Definitely do it if you’re driving in the metro area. You won’t need it most of the time but in case that one time happens, it’s got you. There’s links in the description to cameras I have personally tested and trust!
Nice video! Lot of close calls!
this video is so good 😺😺
Before the personal mistakes what was that car?

yeah you drive pretty much how I drive except I honk less. Always signal, don't have much patience for people who go too slow or sit at lights, drive fairly quickly to get past all the lights, etc. Biggest pet peeves for me are people who sit in the left lane, and people who don't know what a turn signal is. Obviously with these things in mind, the worst drivers in my opinion are old people.
I just want to see if I made the cut of bad drivers 😅
0:40 Wow, didn't see that the motorcycle almost wiped out too. 1:13 Woops. LOL 5:07 I said" Come on, do something." Honda gives up half way "I don't think that was one of the options." 7:01 Wasn't expecting a u turn.
your camera quality >>
God, I'm considering a move to Philly area but IDK...
i live in philly lol this is beautiful.

Not much fun. Just a bunch of near misses.
You are very impatient and you sure love your horn.
@BadDriversOfNapa

I'm the same way. I'm extremely impatient of other peoples' bad driving and I am pretty consistent with giving people a loud honk. I won't apologize for it either. It's pretty simple. Don't like honking....don't be an idiot on the road. Bad driving is not something to have patience with. Save your patience for the grocery store line or other situations that don't have the potential to hurt or kill. Bad driving kills thousands of people every year in the U.S. and injures millions. Give me one good reason why any of us should be patient with bad drivers....
@Metabrowser

@@BadDriversOfNapa LOL I'm also impatient with bad drivers or maneuvers, but I don't use the horn all the time. Also, using the horn uselessly at someone, that may take longer to park or other non dangerous actions, could stress them up and make them react faster and less securely and provoke an accident. In most of the clips here, the 2 or 3 second delays did not need the use of the horn. The use of the horn is suppose to be used only for security, not for impatience. Cheers!

@@Metabrowser There are security reasons for honking at someone who is too slow or blocking the lane. Impeding traffic has been proven to be hazardous.
