Thanks. I am my own worst critic and would have to look at it so it gets fixed. Just trying to save myself grief later on when I am kicking myself for not fixing something when I had the chance.

It surprised me too. The gaps and alignment on new cars is amazing compared to these old muscle cars that is for sure.

Nicely done. Gaps and crooked panels can really distract from an otherwise nicely built car.

Thank you Very true, they distract me all the time at car shows. I think sometimes it seems unfixable and you just have to live with it but pretty much everything is fixable if you put in the time.

Mark, loving the channel and your work on the '67 Goat. Don't know of a greater body style with the over/under headlights. I owned, and wish I still had, a '66 Tempest with OHC 6. I thought I knew a little of how to do body work until I see all the stuff you are doing on and to Ruby. Great info and appreciate the level of detail you are doing to get her as perfect as possible before laying on the paint. Keep it up!!!

Thanks Brian, I really appreciate that. That OHC-6 was ahead of its time in my opinion. Pontiac really pushed the envelope on some stuff. I really love the styling on the 67 but I am a little biased.

I came across this video from a Nova site, thank you for this. Great video, its exactly how i feel they should be made. This will help with my 66 Nova when i get to that point since it as the same problem. I have subscribed and even though yours is a GTO, alot of the properties are the same. Really appreciate it.

I wish I would have got into body work when I was younger and I wanted to but one of my friends father was a body man for a dealer and he had to get out of body work because of the paint fumes were causing him health problems. I guess back in the 60's and 70' they didn't have respirators like they do now. His father told me to pick another occupation so I did. I don't have any regrets but I sure wish I could do body work like you do. Thanks for sharing.

I think you made the right choice. Back in the day a dust mask was proper equipment. I am not just saying this and I do mean it. Anybody can do what I do. Just start small and you will learn so much going through the process. I wasn't formally trained and do an okay job and you can as well. It may not come out super nice on your first try but you can screw it up a bunch of times and still be money ahead.
