Reggies character arc has been complete after 21 years! Definitely the highlight of the film for me! My theater went nuts through the whole thing.

Perfect example of how seeing a movie in the theater with a rowdy crowd can make all the difference in the world.

Totally. I'm ready for some Gen X sensibilities to make a comeback.

This was a great entry into the Franchise. Loved Lowry's Son and Reggie. Vanessa Hudgins is used really well. Mike and Marcus are actually cool and funny. Damn good writing, some of those jokes were fire. I would love to see a Reggie Bad Boys movie. I think he has stolen the Franchise.

I enjoyed this one quite a bit... Agree... A return to 90s esq R rated action cop comedy.... Long overdue!

It's amazing that the R-rated buddy cop formula was ever allowed to stagnate. When done right, it always delivers.

@GeekinWithJamesHancock I really enjoyed the past 3 Bad Boys flicks, I may have enjoyed 3 the most so far because it seemed like the stakes for Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett are much higher in that movie and it has probably the scariest villains in the entire series for me in the assassins that are after everyone close to Mike and they vow to kill Mike last because they want him to suffer emotionally before they take him out. There’s just something about the villains in bad boys for life, that even though it’s been awhile since I’ve seen it however, I may go for a rewatch of it before I go see ride or die on Saturday with my mom and dad as well as my buddy from high school David, that we continue to be friends until this day, and I can’t wait.

I love BB! Was 15 when it came out. Mike I think peaked after TF in 2007, the Rock was probably his best, but not peak. Saw the last one in theaters and liked it, but this one didn't look that compelling to me. But will check it out when I can out of theater.

the practical bullet impacts and explosions totally made it feel like a real action movie, which is both welcome and kinda sad it feels rare now.

Bad boys 4 was the funniest movie I’ve seen in years Martin was unbelievably funny going to see it again my theater was laughing so hard people began to relaugh again. This was the funniest film of the series

Got to be honest it sounds a good film. I'm pleased Will has moved on and has still got a career. But for me, I can't get past the slap. Not so much the deed , the snivelling non apology. If your going to be a bad boy own it.

I suspect a ton of people feel the same way and will likely never look at at him the same way again. But the epic slap scene in this movie at a minimum will give a lot of folks a sense of payback in a lighthearted way.

Seeing it Sunday, can't fucking wait!!

A Bad Boys marathon would break me. I much prefer to dip in and out but I did have fun with the first one as an 18 year old kid.

@@diamonddoggspuppy7755 I've had to watch a lot of buddy cop films for research and it was in the lower tier for me, sadly, if you dig it, that's all good. It has its moments but is a typical Bay product for me.

Well this isn’t a review I expected to see today. Will it hit $50M this weekend?

Going to be very interesting to see how this one performs when compared to Bad Boys For Life. The last one opened in a pre-slap, pre-Covid era, but this one is the stronger movie. But Sony kept the budget down to $100 million so I think it will do fine in the long run.

Romanian Mafia? Yeah that checks out! 😒 When you think of Miami you know the big Romania threat!

I think the movie will overperform because the older black crowd don’t do presale tickets and will walk up business will be huge.

Judging by my crowd last night, it should do fine in terms of word of mouth. I saw it at a nearly packed theater near Union Square in Lower Manhattan and the audience was totally into it.

Same. The slap was an idiotic move on his part but he was put on this Earth to make movies like this.

Last one was meh and forgettable. I'm on the fence with this one. Looks better than the last one, but trailers can trick you.
