@@geekinwithJamesHancock An absolute pleasure, James. Your videos are mainly my only connection to cinema today. Faced with the current shortage of cinematographic proposals, my interest in this once wonderful artistic medium lies in the people who preserve and provide the constant memory of such great, peculiar and unforgettable works of films created by the most talented artisans.
Fear City is such a classic

Proud owner of the Blu-ray. That flick seriously kicks ass.
This should be a treat💚🇬🇧🌱

Long overdue. It was time once and for all to settle the debate over which decade of erotic thrillers is superior, the Eighties or the Nineties.

Man do I remember 9 1/2 weeks...🎉 Got a few more flicks added to my must watch list thanks James💚🇬🇧🌱
Loved Body Double.. I went to midnight shows for several months to be as pervy as Wasson.. That telescope scene with the music..Classic..In Dressed to Kill, look closely as Angie leaves the museum, and the shot pans to the taxi..you get an Easter egg of our killer..I didn't notice it for years..😂

I love that cameo of the killer in Dressed to Kill. Took me years to notice.
Crimes of Passion, Blue Velvet, and Body Double definitely made an impact on me. All three very different films in tone but still fit the bill. And for fun, the ear worm that never gets old: kzread.info/dash/bejne/h5-qm9iplNusm5M.html

I have no choice but to start dancing in front of my window each time I hear it.
Since the writers strike, the overall quality of film has the sex appeal of hospital socks dipped in 6 train rain/flood water, wrapped in bacon. Erotic thriller genre is such a lost art it’s like calculus for a 3rd grader.

It is a total mystery to me why this genre has gone away. The movies are cheap to make and every once in a while a good one would come along and generate dump trucks full of cash for the filmmakers.
banging selection

I'm always open to adding new movies to the list but I was pretty satisfied with my final top 10.

@@geekinwithJamesHancock yeah solid selection, funny how such movies are almost impossible to make nowadays have you watched - bedroom window with isabelle hupper? it's also pretty decent erotic thriller from that time period
My god man, your just a delight!

This was great
Oh shit any movie where James Woods demands $50k from you, stolen or not, I'm sold.

Age 18, that was my go-to trick but sadly my skills have disintegrated.
Thanks for including Crimes of Passion which is hands down the weirdest erotic thriller I have seen. Typical Ken Russell.
Great list. Body Heat is definitely a fave of mine. Kathleen Turner was jaw droppingly hot, and yep, a willdy sexy smoker. I saw it in the theater with my girlfriend, who broke my heart and dumped me later that night, but not before some wild breakup sex - I think we were both too damn worked up over the movie to just go our separate ways without first getting it on 😂

Great movies but this video is focused on the Eighties.
well, this was brilliant video, analysis, I've never confronted the erotic thrillers I've loved, BOdy double was amazing on hbo, Angel Heart I think of neonior, but it's the hottest movie of the eighties, Fatal Attraction, I saw in theaters and later relived through several times, so a warning unheard. BOdy heat was great, and NEar Dark I find extremely romantic, hot and thrilling.too supernatual for ya I guess

Of all the New Hollywood directors who emerged in the Seventies, for me he has the best filmography of the Eighties although his buddy little Stevie might try and claim that title.
