Had Devindra been there for this review, he would have said that he loves Rhea Seehorn, would watch her in anything, and then complain that she doesn’t have much to do in the movie.

Oh my god guys, this is amazing.

To be fair, in Bad Boys 2 Marcus was threatening to transfer to another location. So it makes sense that they were always yelling and screaming at each other. But then again, thats just there relationship. Not everybody's gonna understand it but I wouldn't go so far as to say it was toxic. Plus it was the first movie to establish how much of a connection they have. Its like siblings who's always yelling and fighting each other but at the end of the day will have each other's back no matter what. Plus it was the first one to introduce the line "we ride together, we die together. Bad Boys for life." Which the last 2 movies based their films off of. Bad Boys is 4 for 4 imo!

I never put together that the slap from Martin had anything to do with the “slap”. I got what Paul said it was about the wife. Loved the movie and will never turn on Will Smith. He’s 1 of 1.

This is imo, the Worst of the 4 Films. Jeff, you don't need to see the other 3 Films to know this was Completely Lackluster Compared to the Previous 3 Films. Bad Boys 1 & 2 had the Sharp, Largely Actually Funny & Amusing Fooling Around Between the 2 Leads. Both Films also had Captain Howards Electricity Interjected into Scenes from Time to Time. Bad Boys 1 had Julie thinking Will is Martins Character & Martin is Wills Character, and then finding out, that's not so. Bad Boys 2 had Crazy Action. Bad Boys 3 had an interesting Plotline of Mike being undercover partnered with Isabel way back when, Marcus didn't even know, because of this aspect, Isabel is a more in-depth villain than any of the other films villains and is probably the best villain of the entire franchise. Bad Boys 3 also had the Advantage of Having this New Super Cool Character Called Armando being Introduced into the Fray, Then the film throws even more intrigue at the Audience by having a possibility of Armando being Mikes Son. It had Armandos Super Cool Action Scene of taking out 5 to 6 guys with Swift & Sharp Movements. It had the Helicopter Scene with the Great Score in that Scene. It had the End Shoot out with at times, Brilliant Camera Work. I mean, it had so much going for it, people have even said that Bad Boys 3 is the Greatest of the 4 Films. So what do we have in Bad Boys 4? Well, we have Largely Unfunny Comedy, (I Belly Laughed Twice during the scene when Martin Lawrence was walking backwards through Traffic because " I Can't die" and another laugh Directly after that when Will Smith catches up to him and Pulls his Gun out towards his face and says "You're Telling me............ etc"). Most of the Action Scenes were Lackluster Compared to Previous Entries and The 2 Leads don't even have the best Action Scenes, their 2 Sons have the Best 2 Best Action Scenes in the Entire Film. Killing Captain Howard in Bad Boys 3 was an Absolute Disaster of a Mistake. It would of been far more effective if Captain Howard was Actually Alive on this Adventure to clear his name in Bad Boys 4. That said, we had an interesting premise of his daughter who was looking for Armando to Execute Him, and even that was lackluster, they needed to build into that more, which they didn't, it was barely built upon and then they just tacked it on at the end. Much of the other bits of comedy weren't funny, this mainly due to the fact that Martin Lawrence has Terrible Low Energy & Awful Line Delivery in this. They should of just given this Franchise to Will and Reggie, or Will & His Son, Martin Lawrence is in no type of shape to do this at a capable level anymore. The other action scenes that were not very good, (helicopter scene & Martin Lawrence on top of the car on the road scene). These 2 particular scenes were not that good, and the edits were terrible in these scenes, too many edits. The concept of Martin Lawrences' character not being able to die yet should have been used more(within the action scenes) and far better than it actually was. The Villain, not good enough, he starts well and then just nothing. When most of your Comedy is Flat, when your Plotline is a complete Downgrade from Bad Boys 3, when your villain is not interesting, then you have to get some great characters in there and really nail those action scenes, and this just didn't do it. Very Lackluster Time at the Cinema with this one. However, right after Bad Boys 4, I did manage to see The Dead Don't Hurt and I really liked it, The Cinematography was Gorgeous, so many Beautiful Shots, Vicky Krieps puts in a good performance and It Felt so Good to be "Bathed in an Adventure in the Old West🏜️🏞️" on the Big Screen. It had This Stillness to it, and at times, outright Serenity.

I disagree with a lot of your takes. Almost quite literally the opposite for many things. Martin's comedy was great, the action is at least 2nd best in the series, the chemistry is just as good as before, most characters were great, and it had the best camerawork of all the movies. How you belly laughed at Martin backing into traffic of all scenes is beyond me.

I like the both new bad boys movies. But I do wish Michael bay directed these new ones. Especially 4, because can you imagine the action. We would of had, with the concept of the bad boys being fugitives. The action would of been. As crazy as two or crazier. Also I love michael bays bayham. He is the kind of action sequences. That is what I feel the new directors are lacking to bring. All I ask for in a bad boys movie. Is comedy and great over the top action scenes. Is that too much to ask for? Cmon Jerry!!! I disagree on the length of bad boys 2. I feel 3 and 4 needed to be at least 2 hours and 15 30 minutes, because of how everybody was supposed to he coming after them. They could of stretched that out more, because the cartle didn't come after them at all, and the gangs scene only lasted one scene. Theu should of had at least two scenes of the gangs, two scenes of cartel, and two scenes of side dirty cops. Also I felt 4s action scenes we're too short. Just as I was getting into them. They ended. I feel they could of went overboard with the whole fugitive concept two, because there was no cartel after them. Or like some crooked dorty cops, just the dirty cops that the villian had and captains daughter. I feel Armando should of been more lethal in here towards the bad guys. Like he was toward the good guys in 3. I'm going back to see 4 again this Saturday. But for this movie to be great to me. In my opinion. I would of like them to do everything I stated. Last thing for bad boys 5, because I know they're going to do another one. I need the new directors. To give me as much action. As two. People say 4 was action packed. When I think of action packed. I think bad boys two. That is action packed and the standard. Adil ballah can do that type of action. While still incorporating their camera work and and really cool shots
