There is a rumour going round that the EMTs were able to save captain Howard and he was put into hiding with his family until they were able to deal with the assassin and staged his funeral to make him appear dead,will know if this is true if they bring him back in BB4

I felt for his daughter who probably had to see that.

Man this tore me up when I saw this in theaters. Captain Howard was always a hard ass to them, but he always had their backs even when it could've cost him his job!

When I saw this, I tried so hard to hold back my tears. All the other bad boy movies had us in tears from laughing, but this scene blow me away, even thou I knew it was not real.

This part got me because i know how what the captain was telling him always sets up an emotion moment in the MCs life and also hut because the guy was a great captain to the boys and his officers.

That second the captain is down broke me cause he knew he was gone 😢💔 and the captain said earlier in the movie that mike was like his son when he got shot

And when Mike got shot then the captain started talking to that team and he was like Mike is like a son to me and this when Mike said captain is down it gave me chills

I was not expecting for Captain Howard to die , that hurt but the movie was good and they got him justice.

I fucking loved The Captain, he was one of my favourite characters in the Bad Boys franchise. When Will said “The Captain is down” it hurt

When the captain said kid got the family curse that was a nod to the 1st bad boys when they was in the gym and the captain was missing all the shots then will smith grabbed the ball scored it and said everybody wanna be like mike

When Mike goes to the operators that the captain down it was heartbreaking 💔

He died like a True Hero. May he rest in peace

Captain Howard character was funny in this movie series. He complimented both main characters

The saddest part out of the entire trilogy

Mike , you have to get control of your life. You gotta grab the reigns, before your horse runs you off a cliff. Damn that shit speaks volumes to what my man went through.

He left Mike with a good peace of advice right before he was killed I was in shock

Before the seeing of the movie, I felt either Martin or Will Smith was gonna get killed and one of them would have to avenge the other. It honestly threw me for a loop when they killed the captain. Very sad because in the other two bad boys he had me in stitches 😢

Seeing the saddest in Martin Lawrence at the funeral was hard to watch cause he knew he should have been there for the captain

I honestly cried on this part it was so out of left field 🥺

This is why I hope they don't follow up with a fourth movie. It wouldn't be the same without Capt. Howard.

Scene made me the angriest...Howard's been a part of these since the first like almost 30 yrs ago...

Because they didn’t have to do us like that. This was our Captain he was just as important in the franchise as them! I cried. He must didn’t want to do another movie. They can’t give us another captain we want be too open 😂😢

Nah I’d say Riggs’ tearful suicide attempt while grieving his wife, in the first Lethal Weapon movie holds that distinction.

Well, I haven't got the chance to see the movie yet. But, damn, this is a tear-jerker! I think good acting is when an actor can make a scene seem so real. Plus, we all have history with Captain Howard from the past films, like he was someone we knew, because he kinda grew with us. That's why realistic films like this will always have a place in entertainment. Well played!

Regret not seeing this in theaters

Martin Lawrence done turned into Forrest Whitaker in the thumbnail lol

Both Marcus and The Captain warned Mike that he needed to settle down and enjoy Life away from Police Work before it was too late. The Job had become Mike’s Life to the point he couldn’t enjoy anything else outside of it. No Wife, no GF, no Kids, lives alone and barley any hobbies😢😢😢😢 The Captain and Marcus both knew the things they had outside the job, that’s why the both of them was eager to Retire and enjoy Life and their loved ones while they still could (unfortunately the Captain couldn’t😢😢😢😢) Hopefully in the next Movie Mike takes the Captains words to heart.

This scene really was sad to see the captain die in this movie out of all the bad boy movies he was in

The worst part of this film was the death of Howard, he is among the great police captains in films, pretty much on par with Inspector Todd, I just think the two of them are epic in their own way

I've heard "amazing grace" enough times that the song doesn't get me, it's the memories that do. Seeing how he took that hit, there was no way he could live. That's a screwed up way to go though.

Cant wait for another new Bad Boys movie, Lawrence is the best of the two for me he should be a bad ass in the next one.

Loved the part where my homie said "Caiate" a natural spanish speaker in the flesh

The Captain Is Down!

When this was being filmed I was in school and the place they were filming at is right where me and my class would run laps in PE. Sadly that day we didn’t get to see any of the actors since they closed it off for filming, I’ll always remember this moment as it was one of the closet I got to a film site.

Great Cast .. all 3 ... Absolutely classics Bravo 👏 to them all I SALUTE
