I could have sworn I was in my bed a second ago. Shine Nguyễn The original is by ZUN who I think is an independent internet composer and made the music for the computer game Touhou Project, but I am not sure. I don't know this game, I only know the music :D The Music Box Version is by me ^^

Ib is awesome. I know it's considered a 'horror' RPG game, but it's really not that scary... some parts might make you jump, but that's the fun of it. The others Calista Cinollo mentioned are a bit more scary, but they're good games.

You're music box is not used in the game but this fan service video where they put pictures of Ib. ^^ I've played the game myself. It's basically just fan service I guess. Although maybe some people are confusing this for Ib's "Memory" Which are totally two different things. Don't feel alarmed.

As the above poster says, someone used it in another youtube video with pictures of the game and yes, most likely it's been confused for one of the songs used in the game (though they are actually quite different "Memory"). By the way, the game is free to play and easy to download, takes up very little space so...I'd really recommend you play it actually.

It’s so insane to me hearing such a piece after so long and it being as comforting and enjoyable to listen to as it was the first time I listened to it - genuinley still brings a tear to my eye, this many years later Quite honestly, I miss the days back in 2016 when I discovered touhou for the first time, there were so many cool characters to meet, amazing themes to be heard and stories to be told. It felt like an endless treasure trove of all of these things. This series got me through a very hard time in my life, one I wasn’t sure I’d make it through. I am not only grateful for the fact the series helped me so much in such a hard point in my life, but I’m even more grateful that the series wasn’t stained by the bad memories of the days it helped me through and that I can keep enjoying it as much as I did back then - as backwards as it may sound, this is one of the first pieces of touhou music I ever listened too, and listening to it now brings me back to those times - although not to the bad days and memories of things that happened, but the absolute peace and comfort this offered to me during said times. It’s one of the few things that can get me to stop and just appreciate the world around me, I might not have been able to experience it if not for touhou, after all. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making such an amazing piece of music PS - forgive me for the ramble, touhou always gets me all sappy and sentimental.

I remember that when I was little (I didn't even know how to write or read and my brother put me on KZread to entertain me for a while, I clicked on anything) I watched certain videos and they put this version of the song,(it was the old KZread, the screamers were popular, the Creepypastas,nonsense tutorials, electronic music, experiments, etc) I searched the song for years, about 2 years ago. I found a song called Bad Apple, I felt that the melody was familiar to me, at that time I already knew about the music box versions, I looked for it and finally... After so long I can listen to this beautiful melody whenever I want

This just makes it sound so much sadder than it already is, I actually got tears forming having heard it so many times and then hearing it like this. Blissfully heartbreaking!!

They really need to make a real music box for this song.

Me acuerdo haber escuchado esta canción hace un año más o menos en un vídeo ErrorInk (shipp de UnderTale), esta misma versión y me enamoré, lamentablemente, perdí el vídeo y con ello la canción. Hace poco escuché la original y me sonó tan conocida, al final busqué la versión ''Music Box'' y me encontré con esto y casi lloro, esta canción tiene un montón de significado en mi vida... LOL, enserio nunca pensé en volver a encontrarla :D

*Holy shit, I remember this melody from some old fanmade comics-clip called "Slenderman vs Jeff the Killer (Fall Out Boys - Light Em Up)". This melody was playing at the end and I haven't really wondered what its name was. I didn't because I watched this video for the interesting comics with stunning accompanying audio.
