I can watch your videos for hours and hours! It's so soothing, relaxing, adventurous and entertaining! I envy you! I have not had a TV for more then 10 years. I don't like wasting time flipping through hundreds of channels and watching commercials. Your channel gives me life has everything and it gives me life!

My wife started watching this video with me, and she asked, “does he have someone else standing on the side of the road getting those shots?” I explained to her that it’s just Chad and that he has to get out, walk back to the camera, and then back to the van...repeat however many times as needed. Wish there are some same spot here in Saudi to camp also. Been working here as nurse since 2011 and havent find any camp site.

Chad- huge thank you for the vids you put together and the time you take to stitch together the footage. You tell a hugely entertaining story with a brilliant mix of staged footage that really feels totally natural .. so many of your shots where you pull the viewer into a scene to capture the sense of what it might feel like walking along side the road and you just drive on by! Just awesome. Honestly I don’t think Disney could do this any better... keep it up! Thanks again!

The forest fire are natures way of regenerating itself. Lighting strikes commonly cause fires. But fresh growth of plants trees .Lots of food for goats ,deer. And lots of goats and deer for the bears , mountain lions ,coyote and wolves.. Great movie. Most enjoyable to watch.

I don’t think you understand how your videos help with my mental clarity!!! Life is so stressful , and I watch your videos and in that moment I BREATHE!!! Thank You for that!!

Not a special effect or Photoshop. Everything tastes better cooked over open fire, in the wilderness, and especially at 6100'. Especially if your next to a mountain stream or next to a lake.

Chad, you definitely "push the limits" with your videos! I know you do all the videography yourself, but it looks like you have an entire film crew doing the work while you drive and camp. I really love your videos and look forward to your adventures! Most other KZreadrs I watch, I watch in 1.5x or 2x speed. With yours I watch in normal time and truly enjoy the show!

I still say Netflix or some streaming service needs to pick you up, you've put in the time, and there's obviously a fan base. This stuff is one of my zen places, love it, keep it up.

What can I say to you my friend? No one stands above you when it comes to making videos. You are a master. The opening scenes using your drone are just shy of magnificent. Now owhy would I say such a stupid thing? They are absolutely NOT just shy of magnificent. They are absolutely magnificent. You mark my words, someday I’m going to acquire a vocabulary large enough to be able to express just how good you are. I wait week after week looking forward to see you living the van life. Really Chad, you are a very talented young man. Now I say young man because I am 76 years old. When I found your videos on KZread I was introduced to the life I should have lived. When I was perhaps 40 years old I was introduced to the vehicle which I would come to love. The Volkswagen van is the most fun I have ever had behind the wheel. As I have told you before I owned six of them. I owned a couple of what they called campers. They were a lot of fun, but I never owned a Westfalia. I guess there’s not much more to say other than you are the best Chad, The very, very best.

This was incredible!!!! The burned forest was actually beautiful...the trees were whitish gray...at first I thought it was a type of forest they I had never seen! For sure. I drove up a small mountain in MD called sugarloaf and we had to go the back way. It says it's a 2 way street, but it should only be a 1 way road. Never put my Camaro through such a trial.

Norwegian tip. Get some fat flavoured fish, like macarel. Wrap it in foil with herbs and put directly on the fire to cook. Or use salmon, or even better brown trout. Regarding cooking water, get a classic coffee pot and put it right on the fire. Use it for everything from tea, coffee, to rice or soup.

“You just gotta push the limits.” There is so much wisdom in that.

Just found your channel a couple days ago and now have watched several posts: I'm thinking a binge day is coming soon! I have camped for nearly 60 years and been cooking in dutch ovens for 15 years and actually belong to a Dutch oven club. I also love to do curry when camping...so easy...one pot...hot and tasty! Keep up the good work and I am already looking forward to your next trip out!

Love all the new videos lately. Makes me want to get back up to Washington and explore my roots. When my dad came back from Vietnam, he spent a lot of time in the Washington wilderness, probably trying to get his head straight. I was born there and I miss it.

Love it Chad. Like I’ve said before, these videos relax me and inspire me to take my Eurovan into the mountains. I think I’d like to try the Dutch oven cooking too. We used those on the river, but used coals instead of your tripod method over fire. I like the fire 🔥 because it’s a primal feeling of comfort and safety. I guess I need some whiskey as well. For extra flavor, start by cooking the curry paste in oil first, as that releases the oil soluble spices to “bloom” the curry spices even more. Then sauté the veggies and finish with the coconut milk. Good videos!

Toast that curry paste with your veggies and oil and sauté for a bit. Then add the coconut cream to create they curry. Makes a huge flavor bomb difference when the oil picks up that sautéed curry. Enjoy and thanks for the scenery. You got to amazing places!
