Thank you for this tutorial! My right backward crossovers and forward crossovers are the bane of my existence. 😄 these are advanced moves in the sense that there’s a lot to remember

How do I avoid catching the toe pick??
can i learn that with hockey ice skater?
How can I get over the fear of sliding my crossing leg over my base leg? X

You can practice at the wall or holding onto someone. I also teach 1/2 swizzle pumps with the foot slightly crossing over but still with both feet on the ice to gradually transition to picking up the foot :)

Coach Mary - Figure Skating Tutorials! I can I also pick up and cross, like you teach, however the requirement is to slide in front of the gliding leg, so could you maybe do a tutorial on this? Xxx
