I remember a black comedian giving a hint that he liked this song by partially quoting some of the lyrics in a subtle way. I laughed hard because I know it was a secret guilty pleasure song by many straight guys back then, of whom did not want to be bunched in with the fangirls going crazy over boy bands. 😁 They have to keep their "tough guy" persona, after all! 🤣 As I said in another comment, a good song is a good song. I don't care where it comes from, if it sounds good to me, I'm listening to it. I grew up in the 80s as a child and my big brother listened mainly to Metallica, Guns N Roses, etc. But I never stuck with one genre of music. I always liked songs from ALL genres, and this happens to be one of those songs.

I remember when people said "We won't remember The Backstreet Boys 20 years from now.And yet here we are.

Yep back i he late 90's, my early teens, when I was going nuts trying to get tickets to sold out BSB tours and my dad made a comment like "you're going nuts over a band you probably won't even like by the time you're 18." And here I am at 37...

One of my favorite of theirs is "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely" You gotta check that one out...

They have so many great songs! Incomplete was good too and it came out in 05 I think. 1999 has some great songs including Jennifer Lopez if you had my love, faith Evans Never let you go, Maxwell “fortunate”

Always loved Backstreet Boys. I liked some nsync songs but BSB was always my fav. Still such nice song. You just have to sing when you hear. Everybody, Show me the meaning of being lonely, The shape of my heart, As long as You love me, All i have to give, Like a child, How did a fall in love with you...so many good songs. I love that you enjoy knowing many different styles, different songs.

The song was written and produced here in Sweden by Swedes. They wrote and produced several songs for this band and others, like n'Sync and early Brittney Spears. One of my favorite songs, they have many others I like too. I'm glad you like it!

These guys grew from a pop boys group to a truly talented ensemble of men creating moving ballads encompassing seriously constructed arrangements. Nearly 30 years of success doesn't lie.

Their song Incomplete is absolutely beautiful. You should also check out their song Don't Turn Out The Lights Now. They recorded it with NKOTB for the NKOTBSB tour

I was a grunge/goth girl in the early to late 90s and was not a fan of Pop music at that time, but when this song came out it was my JAM! It's so fun watching you discover all of this great music! :)

THIS IS MY KARAOKE SONG. I can sing Brian's tone perfectly. 😁 . My daughter went to see them, VIP, in vegas. She works with AJ'S cousin.

Back in the 90's, 2 of my daughters who were teenagers, used to play these all time, brings back great memories, love their music, loved to sing along then, my kids used to call me their "Backstreet Dad" 😊😊

"We've Got It Going On" is their first hit. They made their breakthrough first in Europe with that song. It took year or so for them to make it in the US. Please check that out, you will see the difference in them :)These bands may have been aimed for youngsters and teenagers but at the same time it is easy to see them as a continuum to the vocal groups of the 1950's and 60's.

My daughter was a teen in the height of Backstreet Boys. We had their cds playing non stop in the minivan and I am a fan to this day. Not ashamed to claim it. N’Sync too...and of course, Justin Timberlake.

“ LARGER TGAN LIFE!!!””” That is the best song by the Backstreet Boys!!❤️❤️❤️ i’ve been watching you for a long time and I know you will love it. It is so hip and cool please respond to this song and react to it because it’s off their millennial album. 2000-2001. Goodness gracious it is one heck of a song.

Took my daughter to see them twice when she was little. Can't forget Nick's little brother Aaron - we seen him 3x's. My son went to see NSYNC and I introduce my daughter to new kids on the block. Actually a lot of boy bands from the 80s and 90s

So glad you're doing backstreet boys. "Everybody" is a great music video, and if you want to see how huge of a fan base they had, check out, "I'll be the one". BSB is the best 90s boyband IMO, but that might just be the nostalgia talking. 😂They even have some acapella or "unplugged" renditions of their songs.

I LOVE the Backstreet Boys!!

I love that boy bands are considered cool again. There was a period where people hated on them and listening to them made you uncool. If music touches you in some way, it touches you. There shouldn't be stipulations placed on it. These guys were the biggest thing when I was a kid. It was always NSYNC vs. BSB and I was always more BSB simply because they felt more authentic and 30 years later they're still going so I wasn't wrong! I love NSYNC, but it was always the Justin show (even though JC had the better voice, don't @ me, Justin has said it himself) whereas these guys were an actual group and all members had their moments. Ahhh, nostalgia.

When i think you were born in 1995, you were 4 when this came out and i was a bit younger than you are right now lol, where did the time go?? these guys were actually underrated and even made fun of for being a stereotypical boy band back then, but they actually have talent, they're a great vocal group with great catchy songs that have stood the test of time and are now classics. They're probably more appreciated now, for reasons you can imagine the way you talk about music nowadays.

This is a classic from my childhood. It really touches a nerve. I watched them live here in London in June of this year and they sang this song. They sounded the same.

Huge thumbs up for the Backstreet Boys. I loved both them and Nsync, they were each very special for their own reasons. I would love to see you do reactions to more BSB and to some Nsync as well, who had a killer five part harmony in their favor.

I used to sing this with a colige when I was a 17year old girl and I was a carpenter apprentice. He had a pitch perfect voice and whe used to sing in this in harmony. It's a fun song to sing 🙂

These were massive at the time but this and a couple of their other songs are all I remember weren’t as popular in the UK because we had Take That you should review a Million Love Songs by them x

Roy Orbison is a legend of the 60's and quite simply one of the greatest voices of all time, one listen and you will be hooked. You have to get around to Roy eventually. You should do some deep diving into early music videos - I'm talking late 70's/early 80's stuff, like David Bowie's "Fashion". Sure there's some really cheesy stuff but there's also some amazing ground-breaking stuff.
