I was given backstage access to the world's most iconic stage at the legendary Glastonbury Festival. Come with me and my presenter friend (and all round Glastonbury nerd) Andy Bennett as we explore behind the Pyramid Stage before Sir Elton John, Guns n Roses and Arctic Monkeys take to it for the festival. Plus we show you behind the scenes of the BBC compound where the programmes for BBC TV and iPlayer get broadcast from.

This Pyramid stage was erected in 2000. The previous Pyramid Stage was built in 1981 and sadly burnt down just weeks before the Festival in 1994. The first Pyramid Stage was born at the 1971 show. And actually a small makeshift Pyramid stage was built on an old trailer for the impromptu gig at Worthy Farm in 1978.
Glastonbury was actually first shown live on TV in 1994! Broadcast on Channel 4!
