One of the things that sets Rusters backrooms videos apart from others, is the excellent foley audio and how it matches the movement in a natural way. The sounds of the character in the pool match especially well. When it's done well, like it is here, you won't even notice.

4:11 was pretty terrifying, I hope I get some good nightmares tonight :D You gave it a solid 8 seconds to build on that tension making it more effective than it just jumping at you instantly. There's that 8 seconds of dread "Is there something there, No that has to be something, those are two eyes right? but is it moving? does it see me? Maybe i will slowly back up and.....OH SHIT ITS COMING!" All of those thoughts play out in those 8 seconds nicely. I always find the concept of not being able to backtrack terrifying. It's like going back is comforting, You know what is behind you, especially if the exit is behind you. It's like being on a boat and the rope attached to the dock breaks and you can't swim so you're just at the mercy of where the waves take you. If I was in the backrooms I would find something to keep all the doors from fully closing out of fear of being cut off from my comfort zone area.

The Void has only two known exits, and neither are safe. The Void is completely empty space with nothing in it and the likelihood of escape is near zero. The Void can take you to Level Origin or exponentially worse, Level [REDACTED]. There is no escape from either level.

These types of games and videos fascinate me. I used to go with my mom to her job on the weekends or late at night sometimes when no one else was there. She worked for a law firm in a big office building and viewing it through my kid eyes, it seemed like this endless maze of corridors, offices and cubicles. Usually the lights were mostly turned off too, so it was even spookier. Even so, I used to explore around the building a little bit and these visuals remind me of that so deeply I can't even describe it.

I don’t know why, but this makes me wonder if The Backrooms were designed as Kane’s explanation of a liminal space that Async accidentally accessed where everything that gets “misplaced” or “goes missing” ends up, and the bacteria beings are there to process it all over time. And when another organism enters the system, they are pursued like antibodies attacking an intruder.

This is incredible. Feels very on par with Kane's! The camera movements are genuinely realistic, the entities are kept vague, mysterious and mostly obscured in dark areas, barring the last one that looked like Bacteria with a monitor for a head, but that's fine since the cameraman wanted a better look at the entity before leaping out the window. Better leaping out of where you don't know where you'll land in than be caught by the entity.

My sole criticism is that the television-head thing, being barely larger than a human (8ft?) and humanoid in physiology is too familiar. It needs to be so biologically distinct that it seems out of place around the humanoid structures and objects. Considering the topology that they need to traverse, two legs don't grant much movement. A more arachnid composition would be more realistic, and absolutely terrifying.

1:00 1st minute impressions: "Already among the best. wtf?" -The acting is more realistic than most videos out there. -The movement is realistic as well. -I wonder why the other guy on the desk didn't freak out about that alarm, or what it was about in the first place. (Maybe he had an important task at hand) -The visuals are awesome. The water physics is amazing as well. 4:52 Halfway impressions: "This is awesome!" -The level designs, their structure, and the way they're all connected together seamlessly in this version, is something that many fail to replicate in their versions! (Oh and its awesome in case that wasn't clear) -That black dog-human with a vague body shape is *actually* scary wtf xD -The action/danger moments in this video, are much better executed in this video than most others on youtube as well! They're not cut out with a black screen 198273 times a second (like others do). 7:45 Climax impressions: "That... Was... AWESOME FROM START TO FINISH!" -That last level he jumped into through the window was so bright and.. On fire? I'm not sure, but it looked to me like he jumped into a bunch of trees (at first), and then it turned out to be purple clouds that he passed through to the other side, at which he found himself falling from the high sky, somewhere that is lit on flames! (I think it was crop fields not sure) -The ONLY mistake that I can easily think of in this vid, is that the camera man stopped for a *long* time at 7:28 and yet the monster/entity STILL didn't catch up to him. Also he wasn't audibly panicking upon contact with the second monster. (so 2 mistakes I guess xD) -But other than that? This vid alone made me subscribe to this channel, if such quality vids will be uploaded later as well! (Doesn't matter how long they take to upload, quality over quantity)

Outstanding! Spectacular! Wow! This was a serious MASTERPIECE! From the dramatic intro, to the explorer falling directly into the water, leading to the immediate change of environments brought a sense of dread of how creepy the area looked! From 4:15 the chase leading to the slide and then the landing into the multiple coloured balls within that incredible looking office area, was SO enthralling! The entity was so well created and seriously TERRIFYING! My heart almost stopped when the Explorer jumped out the window. His demise was horrifying but so well done! I don't blame him jumping though. That entity was relentless and was getting closer as the time ticked on. I can't WAIT for more!

This is great! Only niggle I have (please just take it as feedback) is that it didn't make sense for him to continue forward after falling through the initial door. He had a partner watching the screens with him as seen in the beginning. Most logical thing for him to do would have been to wait for him to come and find him.

I never understood why no one even attempts to stand their ground against any of the entities. Sure, they're tall, but they don't look particularly strong. The bacterium creatures don't appear to have any muscle mass at all. Surely an average size human could take one of those things. Hurl an office chair at it, or a dozen. Slam its head in the door. Run to the window, let it gain on you and then push it out. Try something other than simply running to your demise. If death is inevitable, then you may as well go down fighting.

Maybe not man to man but chemically or mechanically you could fight them. I would always carry a torch and you can set batteries wrapped in clothes on fire for delayed incendiaries as well as any computer cord noose traps 🪤 or nets for that water thing.

Late to respond, but it's usually flight or fight. Most people pick flight and I'm sure you would as well. Seeing entities run at you can set you into a panic and make you not think properly. Also, it's the backrooms. Nothing makes sense in the backrooms. An entity can look very small and fragile but could be very strong. The same goes backwards. Can look very strong and burly, but can be very weak and fragile. They also don't have weapons which makes people feel even more powerless. This is a explanation and my opinion on the matter. No hate at all😅

It's not a place governed by our physical rules, I'm not sure you can infer anything about the creatures strength or capabilities based on muscle mass in that context. We do know that everyone who runs into these things dies, that would suggest that trying to fight them is not your best first option, only a a last resort.
