BACKPACKING THE PERHENTIAN ISLANDS - DIVING, EXPLORING & BECOMING TURTLE GODPARENTS 🐢 🤿 🕵🏽🚶🏽♂️
In this video you will see us travel to the Perhentian islands from Langkawi.
We flew from Langkawi airport to Kota Bharu for £28 each including baggage, then took a taxi from Kota Bharu to Kuala Besut which was 80rm and stayed the night as it was too late to get the ferry. The following morning we got the ferry which was 35rm each but we aware as you have to pay an additional 5rm for taxes and 30rm for marine conservation.
While we was on the island we did some exploring by foot which you will see in the video. We also done a collection of dives which was very very cheap, The whole week and 7 dives including a adventure dive came to around £118 each.

If you ever do get a chance to visit Malaysian Borneo, do visit the Sipadan Islands. Rated world's best dive site by Jacques Cousteau (Sr). The most biodiverse waters in the South Pacific.

We have a flight booked to Borneo after we go to Bali and Sipadan is definitely on the list for diving and places to see, Thankyou for the recommendation! ❤️

@@jacobmcguire1 Cool. Btw Sipadan's environment is a protected zone. So only a selected number of people can dive per day. Do check the diving schedule there and make an advanced booking for the dive. Cheers.

Thankyou, hopefully it should get better, still getting used to the go pro as they aren’t just a straight out the box and get good videos but we’ve been playing around with the settings to get them right and so far so good! Thankyou for your comment ❤️

@@jacobmcguire1 for islands in the east coast they are Kapas island , locals go there Rawa island , private Lang tengah island Redang island, largest island but mostly resort. Less backpackers. Tioman island, can try this. Tax free. Tenggol island, sometimes whale shark can be seen Of course perhentian islands the maldives of malaysia

We stayed at Panorama dive shop, in their dorm which was 40RM a night each, they can only be contacted via email or Instagram as they normally only let people stay that are diving ✌🏽😃
