Thanks! I want to say it was early June or late May. We just missed a huge rainstorm which made for some really muddy sections. I think late June or autumn would be better chance of less rain and avoid temps too warm.

Cool video, but did you just encourage going through a closed off section because you didn't know it was closed? Surely I'm confused.

Absolutely not. The gate is there to block off stock (horses, mules, etc.) from proceeding any further. Hikers are allowed in all areas.

And then we walked thru the LINCOLN TUNNEL!!!!

The gum drops were delicious...on second thought, those have have been mushrooms.
