Hey Tanya, hope you read this comment. My name is Chinmay Mhatre, I am a stand-up comedian who happen to write the opening of your vlog :) I never thought that something I wrote on a sticky note at Charlie's Guest Home would relate with someone else, let alone make it to the opening credits of a vlog. Thank you so much for giving the credits, as an artist it gives me immense joy to see my piece of writing used in some form of creative work. Meghalaya changed my life, i think it's the prettiest place in India, the people are nicest of all... the rest of the country has a lot to learn from their culture i feel. And at some point I do intend to give my love back to that beautiful heaven on Earth in some form of art. But Thank you once again, this made my day :) Cheers! - Chinmay

Hey hey is march good time to visit Meghalaya?
All I could see was some honest reviews. I’m from shillong and settled in Chennai and when someone like you travel there, I get very emotional because that is the place where I am born. The video was indeed very beautiful.

I live in Chennai, i see many North easterners here .. I feel sad for North East people who have had to leave their home to travel faraway just to make a living just because of the poor political climate in their states .... its so sad and yet i respect their zeal to make the best out of the situation they are in.. . People like you should change the political thinking in NE, you should tell people how rich North East would become because of tourism if only people there tried to maintain political peace...Giving a chance to businesses to thrive instead of ideologies will change the lives of North Easterners.

I think most of your viewers are from the Northeast. We go to Meghalaya often but we cannot get enough of it. Nostalgia. It is also very nice to see how you experience the same feelings we feel when we go there. We like our places to be shown and also when people find peace and happiness here.

Woah. I just read that poem. I'm in 12th
Back when i was posted in Shillong i used to ride out almost every weekend. One, because the roads are just so welcoming for riders and two, the countryside is simply heaven. Because I'm a pluviophile I actually enjoy it more when it rains. The monsoon and winter are my favourite seasons and so Meghalaya was like a dream posting for me. Watching your videos to relive the good times.

Wow!! So Beautiful vlog😘😘
I have recently been to Meghalaya. I am sure that it's more beautiful than heaven. I was lucky that it didn't rain much.
The unforgettable landscapes of Meghalaya will stay in your heart, long after your journey is over. The table-top heights of Sohra (Cherrapunjee) are brimful with waterfalls, streams, and forest trails. Gaze at the Bangladeshi plains from the many vantage points on the state’s southern ridges. The outskirts of Shillong and the high plateau around Mylliem and Smit offer postcard perfect representations of the simple life - complete with pastel green meadows, tall pine groves, crisp cool air, and quiet villages with quaint cottages and wooden fences spread across the countryside.
Rain and NorthEast, r best buddies.. n bugs too... so always be prepared for it..
Awesome, thank you to show my beautiful Meghalaya through ur lenses 😍

Finally done ... double decker root bridge and rainbow falls just did last week ,,, ur vlog gave me a push to do it , had been in Meghalaya twice before but haven’t seen it this time I did it .... ur words are absolutely true “the stairs were a test of human spirits “ and it’s great to be lost in a jungle for a day ... tanya ur vlogs are so real and informative, rather u have set an example for travel solo , ur videos are answers to them who says “girls can’t travel alone they shouldn’t do this and that “ great 👍,,, Keep adding list and tick ur bucket list , I will wait for a video of Ladakh from ur side
