Funnily, I believe you can destroy curses with items that destroy, so you coulda used the curse to destroy the bigger curse. Curses replace item rewards when you don't take them, but I think you can reroll to get rid of them as well. I also prefer growing sideways from the second row to the bottom. I think it's a bit more efficient if you find the ring that gives energy with nothing in the diagnals. Anyway, thanks for playing this game a while ago. I got and spent hours in the demo before buying the game. Tons of fun.
