No, he recorded the transcription at half speed and I am playing it back at double speed so it syncs up with the video.

Stopping for a break at 50:00 and wow Mochy is whooping ass. Abe saved about 3 gammons so far or else it would be much worse right now. Don't know why Abe would have the time penalty apply to him as well, negates the advantage he was looking for.

I would guess closer to $1000 a point at least. Abe was a regular in the $4000-$8000 mixed game at the Bellagio and I'm sure Mochy can get as many backers as he needs!

This "speed" format without time bank is not anjoyable for the viewers, because they don't have time to think about the positions (as well as the players do not have time to think, thus many misttakes from the top player in the world). Also for the commentators is not good because they don't have time to make comments. Even one minute time bank for every game would be enough giving the 1,5% punishment after the 1 min is over. Even in the format they play it would be better if the clocks were showing the 12 sec countdown (I know the ZMF clocks have this option, the clock being used by the players is similar if not the same)

I have to disagree, I find it very exciting and a nice change to see fast, money play instead of the slow play and incessant checker shuffling we usually see from Mochy.

at first in backgammon MUST exist maaaany formats. and many of them its not specially for viewers. i mean...this is their JOB) and we need to be glad to see cash game like that cuz on youtube NONE of the professionals dont record their cashgames. here its what for the viewers - this is record itsself. and im glad to see smthn like this. also a lot of ppl dunnoe what expect from Mochy with this rules, looks like challenge for him.
