Thinking just the same - what a genuine, friendly man he is. Doesn’t just stop for a photo but asks questions of them, seems interested etc. But it must be awful to not even be able to get through the gym to train without being accosted by dozens of fans. Makes me glad I’m a nobody!

You are really simple and authentic person; I took some pictures with you in 2006 in Paris, and few years laters in 2010, I went to LA in Gold's Gym, and again I saw you and came to you to take some pictures. It’s great to see Jay in such great shape still. Most former bodybuilders look ordinary after they retire. Much respect for the champ. Humble and makes time for his fans. True champion

Coz when you actually see them doing their Job thing they don't even do what they say and pretty much says alot. I don't care much about politicians and sure i give a damn about politics but yeah you can't really see them at their normal state usually and here is a great example of that. Go Brandon bruh.

Jay is one of the most humble people around. He take time to talk and take pic's with fans, as where others would not. Like all the tips for helping build a stronger and more full back.

Jay cutler is the king of the gym, everybody must greet him. What a legend!

Jays presence in the gym makes you train harder, that’s the level of respect you have for him.

Jay may not hold the record for Sandows but there’s not another bodybuilder that is better for the sport. Great work here Dave!

It was great to see you back in the Mecca! I was an 80s teen natural BB in Santa Monica. I worked out at Golds before going to Marine boot camp in 84. The Mecca holds a special place in my heart! After coming back from deployments in 88, I lived in Venice on Abbot Kinney Blvd about a mile from Gold's while going to SMCC. I had met Arnie a few times before boot camp because he liked to eat where I was the backend cashier (The Bicycle Shop Cafe). He use to ask me to flex and then tell me I needed to eat more protein!

As much as I love Jay's humble attitude and that he takes the time to interact with his fans, at some point I wish people would just leave him alone and let him do his workout in peace.

Jay makes me want to go say ‘hi’ to him when normally I’d just be star struck or too shy to do that… I love how he lives in the moment as it happens, with each interaction with all people, he is well trained not just in the gym, but in being genuinely down to earth. I found a new level of respect for jay now that I seen him put his own plates back

If I were Jay, there would be no way I'd have the patience to greet and take pictures while trying to get a workout in.

What I like about Jays after pro physique is that as he ages he keeps his skin tone healthy. There is just enough fat that it doesn’t look odd. He looks very healthy. I hope he’s one of those body builders that lives to a ripe old age.

Stopped by on a Saturday late afternoon and saw Big Billy Smith and Chris Cormier walking around and Freaked out--i can only imagine what it was like when the floor was full with the others. It was nice for you all to show us around--SAD to see the inside layout change from the earlier days but looking at the walls/Posters reminds us of the HISTORY and the Pioneers of the Sport!!!!---this was the worlds bodybuilding stage and that will NEVER be forgotten....thanks again Jay/ Dave for sharing this important part of bodybuilding history. --Roland(South Texas)
