I gotta say: How prophetic that Julien "disparaged" Batcher's significance to the overall story, yet, in this episode, she proved herself probably more significant a companion than in any other, so far. Supposedly, this snow monster/creature is called, a Wyrm in The SWU (taken from Old English or Norse Mythology, I believe?) Julien, if you're looking for meaning to this episode, look at it this way: The Return has 3 meanings to it...1. Crosshair has returned to the fold...2. TBB return to The Outpost, which is the location for Crosshair's turning away from The Empire (after being betrayed by them)...3. By the end of the episode, Crosshair has reconciled with and been reconstituted in to Clone Force 99, and, w/ the return of Echo, the band is back together (minus Tech, of course). It's Dave Filoni (Showrunner and the one who primarily hired the creative staff, w/ George Lucas being the idea man for it all, since Season 6 of The Clone Wars), c/o Jennifer Corbett, Brad Rau, and Amanda Rose Munoz. It's great to know that there's now a collective of good-to-great writers, who know how to create good-to-great SW content. (Wish We could've had more like you for The Sequel Trilogy and the Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries.) The most positive aspect of it all: Some of the writers for The Bad Batch were teenage fans of The Clone Wars...which is one of the reasons this show retains such a consistent connection to the writing and world-building of The Clone Wars (and, by default, The Mandoverse, since this material is setting the pieces for what's currently going on in live-action, about 25 years later). May The Force Be With You, Men.
