Saw the first film when I was 8 years old in 1985, then the next two came out when I turned into a teenager. I literally grew up with these films at very important stages in my life.

Back to the future. My all time favorite movie.

Same here. Still watch it again and again today, when get the chance. Don't usually like to watch movies more than twice. This one is different, just so fantastic.

I did too in the year 2015. It was all 3 movies. One thing about that, that I found very special was the moment in Back to the Future Part 2 at the beginning when Marty asks doc, Where are we? When are we? he said "We're descending towards Hill Valley California at 4:29 p.m. on Wednesday October 25th 2015" at that very moment, everyone cheered because it was pretty much the same date that we were watching the movie. It was so cool 😎

Michael is an absolute legend!

I feel sorry for Michael and what he's going through. I'm a stroke and cardiac arrest survivor myself and can't imagine how he's dealing with his illness? Too bad that Mr Glover doesn't show up

Re: Lea Thompson Lea said she had doubts if she could play the part so innocent. The role really needed her to play it that way. As a shy young man's first love, she needed to match up with his innocence. Think how rare her portrayal was. Young women today have a harder worldliness about them. Sadly, innocence has fallen out of fashion. Maybe it had already in the 50's. But, we just think there was more innocence.

What's missing to call the actors now in adulthood, to make an adaptation, where would replace the actors who at the time wore makeup to look older, for them as they are now?

Wow - I totally missed this and I would have _loved to attend_ but I was still teaching university at China Agricultural U in Beijing when this happened! :/ Oh well, at least I am back state side now and have had the opportunity to go to some comic cons and the Con of Thrones. Still, this was one of my favorite films from my youth - although I was 21 the year that the original film was released. It's such a great movie and I've never met a person who hasn't really enjoyed the series! Thanks SO MUCH for posting this.

They hype up this film's trilogy at the expense of appreciation for Michael J Fox as a human being. People aren't even encouraged to enjoy this film trilogy for the right reasons; they play up the sensory experience without attending to the wisdom it has to offer, the lessons it teaches us.

Eric Stoltz is a terrific actor, in HOUSE OF MIRTH, PULP FICTION, MASK, etc. But I'm so curious to see how relatively non-comedic his version of the scene was where Marty wakes up to his teenage mom. A more straight, intense, dramatic version would be fascinating to see after Michael J. Fox's comedic, slapstick version.
