Wow that 1885 Spectacular Wreck front page is fantastic it's brilliant with its accurate detail exactly how a front page of that era would look and read it's perfect.

You really have to give the prop department a lot of credit for putting these newspapers together. Usually, when they have newspapers in movies they don’t put much effort into creating them. But here the detail is incredible! Although realistically some stories, like the Otis Peabody one, I doubt would make the banner headline, unless it was a REALLY slow news day.

yeah usually the prop newspapers are straight gibberish.

Newspapers were crucial in the game due to the Last Time Departed display not working correctly in Episode 1, forcing Marty to use Edna Strickland's vast collection to discover when in time Doc was, later saving his grandfather from death, and giving 17 year old Emmett a folded up newspaper photo of his older self receiving the key to the city with the promise to not to open it until that event happened, similar to the letter in the first movie when it came to the Libyans

The best movie newspaper headline prop had to be in Airplane. National Enquirer...Boy trapped in refrigerator eats own foot.

Good thing Marty and Dr Brown head to where they started in 1955 and restore the timeline to overwrite all this from existence that biff did to the town.

Various versions of these papers pop up as replicas to buy on the internet from time to time. Most of the actual contents of the paper are all repetitive boilerplate nonsense to fill in the gaps. Only some of them have specific stories written on the front page to help support the headlines, since the camera rarely saw those details anyway. Most of which I have discussed in this video. Not much more important stuff to read inside the pages.

And in the sequel old Biff couldn't go back to 1955 and give his younger self the sports almanac because mr fusion wasn't refilled to power the flux capacitor (as seen in the early part of back 2 doc uses garbage including left over beer to refuel) (instead of pultonium) lot of mistakes in 3 movies))

Not only that, but that book only existed in 2015, it didn't exist in 1955; therefore, the book should have vanished immediately upon entering the year 1955.

As much as I think bttf was perfect I wouldn’t mind a number 4.

No! Just no!! Marty would be a bumbling fool that constantly gets rescued by some strong, independent, diverse woman, Biff would be trans and Doc Brown would be black. That's how every successful franchise gets ruined nowadays.

Just watched a movie reaction to the first movie and noticed there was another newspaper prop that you didn't mention, though you can't actually see it in any detail and it is mostly ads. I am referring to the newspaper that Brett the drunk is covering up with when Marty returns to 19865.
