Thomas F. Wilson really is the unsung hero of this franchise. Obviously he plays the main antagonists so isn't particularly likeable, but he played so many iterations of Biff and his relatives (I think the final count is 7) and I really don't think he gets enough credit for it. Probably the most versatile performer in the whole series, a great actor. He seems so friendly and sincere in real life as well, the total opposite of the Tannens.

+bunnyfreakz actually some actors are just like the characters they play. That's one reason the casting director chooses the people they chose for what part. And also that is why SOME actors are type cast into the rolls.

He's a true gentleman and incredibly charming (and handsome, in my opinion, personal taste) and that's exactly what makes his acting so good, I think. It's that spark in his eyes that shouldn't fit with his character. It's interesting to watch.

You know the stuff they did in this film like the hoverboard or the train's derailment, truly shows how creative and magical they are in making this film. Films like these can never be achieved again cause these days films will use CGI instead, cause these effects were expensive and time consuming.

No. Look what Pirates of the Caribbean did. All the fights on the ships pretty much happened, including the rope dives between the ships. Then they added a bunch of CGI, same as Back to the Future. The key is to use IRL special effects when you can and only use CGI to support it.

They filmed it at Puente Hill mall! I grew up in West Covina/City of Industry (till I was 9 and moved to OC) and was always stoked to go to that mall because it was in the movie lol. I wasn't born til 85, so it was filmed before I was around but it was cool to see a familiar place in a movie...especially one of my favorites of all time. Like 2 miles away on the opposite side of the 60 freeway has the greatest throwback diner I've ever been to. It's called Frisco's and it's exactly like what they've shown on TV, with the whole 60's theme, attire and overall idea. Anybody been to Frisco's in City of Industry? lol..their food is SO dank. I'll drive all the way from Anaheim to City of Industry just to eat there, it left that much of an impression on me as a young kid.

33 years later.... AND.... STILL the greatest movies ever.. Back to the Future Trilogy!!! even its science scenes are more coherent and stand up to scrutiny more than other sci fi movies of modern times. The movie so ahead of its times we are actually in the era that back to future 2 is set in!!!!! Ok they were wrong.we dont have hover cars yet ( but we do have 3d movies!!!, automated homes, flat screen tvs! , microwaveable pizzas etc they got as much rigfht as wrong) .. but the moves still cant be beat in terms of entertainment.

Well, I'll argue that doing it on the computer is equaly hard but for entirely diferent reasons.

1&onlyAkash No, they weren't filming 3 movies at once. And the letters were from people who had seen all 3 movies. The second movie wasn't even originally going to be made, the ending to the first movie was originally a joke, until 4 years later when they finally made a sequel.

at some point in time (during the first or second movie) they had to know that they would only show 3 movies. Not because of the word "trilogy" but because after the first movie the said "to be continued" after the second was "to be Concluded" and the third just plainly said "the end".

Here's my question: If Marty can't see his past self (same with Doc); "there are now two of you here and two of me here", and the two Jennifer's pass out after seeing each other "I'm young"/ "I'm old", then why was Biff able to not only see each his past self but be able to communicate with him? Wouldn't that cause a paradox as well? Makes no sense to me.
