yep it is his watch knowledge people watch this channel for not his charisma. The guy ditched his business partner when the going got tough and took the followers and people in a forced buyout. He is not the guy you would want in your corner when the going gets tough. Anthony got them all the followers. Let's see which channel is bigger in a years time, I think it is an easy money bet. He should stick to what he does best which is watch knowledge because apart from that, he is a pretty dull guy.

@@glens1975 The real point is which partner will sell watches consistently and survive in the watch industry. I have watched TPG from the beginning and the combined strengths of Marco and Anthony allowed them to come out of nowhere and reach $30M in sales and several hundred thousands of KZread followers. Then they thought it was cute to do a blackout to get more views. Their unexpected success peaked and they both went downhill. The grey market is based on trust and many followers turned against Anthony and Marco. Once you break the bond of trust, it is very hard to get it back. Time will tell going forward if both Marco and Anthony can succeed in the watch business.

I am a customer so I am going to go on a rant because I care to see GC succeed. Since Marco has been in this business for years, and Jimmy is the CEO, I am amazed at the costly mistakes that keep happening even with the low volume. Jimmy described what the "check" looked like, with no bank numbers, no name or address on it. How can GC ship the watch? I would have held the watch until the client paid the $277,000 in full. BTW, a customer can put a stop payment on a cashier check, so GC needs to wait until the funds are deposited and cleared before shipping a watch. Getting your lawyer involved is costly, destroys a customer relationship, so it should only be as a last resort. Marco & Jimmy need to go see the damn client face-to-face. Furthermore, I am surprised Jimmy had to ask Marco several times to call the deadbeat and ask for the money. This should have been done on a daily basis until the deadbeat pays. Also, I don't understand how there is not a formal process to check in a watch. Can't Jimmy set up a formal procedure, write it down, and train Sutton to make sure all the box papers match the serial number? Last point, shouldn't GC have a watchmaker open up the watch and make sure it is authentic before putting it into its inventory? Grand Caliber is a new entity, but certainly the owner & the employees have been around for several years and ought to know ho to do simple things well.

Danny, your right but I suspect you have misunderstood the situation! As I understand it, GC sold a consignment watch to a known dealer, paid out the consignee and expected to be paid by the dealer in good order. This is not an unusual situation. If the dealer was having cashflow issues then what should have happened, is GC should have sought to hold some of the dealers watches as collateral. If there's a lessen to be learnt its not "don't trust anybody" its "don't give them any time'" you have to be on top of these maters ASAP!

@@HOPPYdownunder I am having this same problem in reverse with their former partner. I bought two watches from him four months ago that he advertised as being "complete". Now four months later I am still going round and round with him trying to get the two missing links from one watch and the box for the other. He has shown himself to be dishonest at his core. He told me both watches were in excellent original condition. When I received them, they had both been polished (one poorly I might add - which degrades their value) but, still had a deep scratch on the bracelet (solid 18K - 116618LB) A lot of things are done in the watch business on someone's word. I took his word when he sold me these watches. You know what his response was when I posted my dispute with him online? He responded..."Prove it" !! Despite all his KZread hype he is just a dishonest person.

I'm loving what you guys are doing and I for one will be nothing but patient waiting for the content I know you guys can create! Just a suggestion for the office space: I noticed when you are giving the tour of the office and you first walk in you have a bell for service if no one is upfront; try getting a video doorbell. It will alert anyone in the back someone has arrived, there's an extra level of security for your office and it just seems a little more upscale and modern for your customers. I know when a lot of changes are happening, some details can sometimes go overlooked but this same details can often improve things greatly. Keep up the great work!

Great to see you’ve listened to the comments of your viewers. Anything to do with watches and the day to day running of the business would keep me watching. I’ve got zero interest in golf, fancy cars and any type of flexing. Keep the good basic stuff coming guys

You got it. Actual business content - what's working, what's not working, processes, client interactions and deals in detail. Go in more detail than any other channel on how the business operates.

Get back to the basics, I started watching because I was addicted to the hustle you all showed and did. Showing the deals, talking to customers, flying out and meeting customers to do deals. That’s what I miss.

Hi Jimmy and team! hen you say « back to the basics » you said it all! Great that you are asking us viewers about what we want to see, even though it will not be easy to capture all and get everyone happy (will always have unhappy or haters). Personally (since I will not speak on behalf of our whole community), I think were all here because of what first made us meet one day, watches. Thus as watches lovers we are, seeing Marco speaking about a vintage watch, or any other team member reviewing a particular model is just great! A bit of customers business, bit of what you guys do professionally (bit of a fun is always welcome indeed). You need to keep part of your business for you guys, I don’t think viewers need to see and know everything, and believe me it is better for everyone. A part of this, and once again that is my humble opinion, I am very happy about what you propose since the birth of GC, thank you all for it. Best of luck guys!

Jimmy, Great to see you asking the viewers what they would like to see. My personal preference would be to see a broad selection of what goes on each day including interaction wiht clients and when ever possible Marco's expertise in vintage watches. Personally, your presence has been great for GC and the professionalism will help increse your customer base.

Love the honesty and respect towards the nature of watches. Fortunately there is lots of different types of people in this world. So you will always have a following. Unfortunately what brought in all the crazy views in the past was Anthony’s wild nature and hustle(which was was kept me coming back). You guys need to continue doing what you are doing you will just have a smaller niche following. Most KZreadrs that have 70k+ views and followers have more interesting personalities on screen and/or have unique hobbies. Keep it up! Don’t focus on the views or followers. I’m rooting for you guys too. Watches will always be in demand. Very informative!

Personally don't care about the watch reviews. There's so many other you tube channels that strictly do those. I enjoy your channel for the sales conversations, the business decisions, the good and bad transactions. Don't care to see what you plan on doing with the space, would rather see the finished product. I'm a Marco fan, but don't care to listen to a 40 minute convo 1 on 1 with a collector/client. I like bouncing around to different transactions. I'm a small business owner, so I enjoy listening to the reasons you are making certain business moves. I can tell that we will get full transparency with the new changes with your company, and I appreciate that. Hope this helps...
