  Interesting that you worry more about polishing the $3.00 Rolex and making it shiny instead of opening up and giving it a service. So you don't check the used watches on a machine to test the amplitude and see if they are running right. ? Given that as you put it, a service could cost 5 k, I would think that you would test every watch you take in. ?

  Classic episode, and one for the ages. The story-telling was incredible, and historic in a way. What was especially impressive to me was the way Marco actively listened--massive respect for that. This was not an episode of who knows more, or who the bigger personality is...this was an episode of total respect for the profession and history of the business. Marco stock was already high, but went WAY HIGHER with this episode.

  For me it’s really between that damn blue dial VC Tourbillion cuz it’s just flat awesome and then the meteorite dial Daytona. Flip a coin but better have plenty of dough for both…especially the VC.
