I was born in the 1989 And also all The films we watched as kids in the 90s where from the 80s , so in essence 90s kids almost by proxy grew up in the 80s too :)

Anthony DelVecchio I was born in 1986, yeah I didn’t get to live the whole decade, but I had the time, and yeah growing up in the 90’s with all the 80’s stuff allows me to appreciate them.

Back to the 80’s - The nostalgia this song makes me feel is through the roof. In miss those days sooo much! We were happy and didn’t know it at the time. Instead we are living through the 2020’s and realizing we’d rather have the 80’s back.

I was 18 in the 80s that graduated high school in 82 and that was the best time of my life

I was born in the late 60's but i was a a late teen in the 80's so i was old enough to absorb all of it and my heart still is about the 80's nothing compares. i was already seeing them at their hight, and i was 17 when my son was born in 1986. And this song is a replay of those years. For me. And amazingly AQUA put a decade in one song. And i remember all of it. AMAZING !!!!!!

Dont be sad, I was an 80s kid, and it was fun but there was a lot of bad things too. Just live for the now and remember life is what you make it and time flies so fast. You'll look back on 2015 and miss it one day!

Back when we actually knew what happiness was, we didn't have so much hatred & anger in our world, & people actually had a POSITIVE outlook on Life!! Lord, I miss those days!! If I could go back, there'd be a lot of people who wouldn't even be a part of my Life, which is good because they can't do anything but condemn you no matter what you say or do.

Fun fact from an Aqua interview the lyric “ when m&m was just a snack and Arny said I’ll be back” was originally “when m&m was just a snack and Michael Jackson’s skin was black” but the week they were gonna release the song Michael Jackson died so they changed it.

90s chick I think it's because Aqua was limited in what they could do in their music video due to the abundance of copyrighted material mentioned in the song. So they were limited to making themselves imitate those various things instead (which, in my opinion, they actually did an OK job of).

Who ever made this video.....the clips of dancing from Footloose and The Breakfast Club were perfectly timed, not to mention the dancing from Bananarama's venus video lol

I love the fact that I lived my childhood with fun, piece and hollywood atmosphere in Greece. Hope that we turn back to the 80's as soon as possible.

I didn't live in the 80s', but something about the 80s' makes me cry, like a nostalgic moment I had never seen or lived through.

I'm a 1970er. I was born and brought up in China. So this is truly amazing how this song takes me back to my childhood, even though we didn't have Cherry Coke, Breakfast Club, and the others. It's magic!

Just to relieve the 80s is a dream. I am not a big fan of aqua but I do like this. Growing up in the 80s was awesome. TV shows cartoons game shows etc etc. I am now going to watch favorite TV show of the 80s Miami Vice while playing video killed the radio star.

Am so proud to say I grew up back in the 80s! Was the most coolist and most fun time of my life! Miss those years so much😢,that decade had everything,great music,movies,tv shows, cassette tapes, walkmans,and toys! Was great fun back then!
