Evee probably changed her mind because all the other kids want to be homeschooled. 😂 But here is a PIECE OF ADVICE. All of the kids should go to public school, if not all, at least the 2 little girls EVEE AND CORA. They are at that age range where they need to socialize and going to public school in the UK would be a great opportunity I do not recommend missing out on. I went through a similar situation with my little girls who are 10 and 12 they felt nervous to start public school at a new country in the beginning. However after just a few weeks they adjusted well and loved the opportunity I think you guys should definitely try public school for at least one term I’m telling you it is a very good opportunity! But obviously do whatever works for you ans what the little ones feel comfortable with. Sending love. ❤

You can socialize just as well when your homeschooled. I'm homeschooled and have been my entire life and I get just as much socialization as my friends who go to public school

In most of the UK school doesn’t start until September, only in Scotland does it start in August I think it would be a great experience for them to attend a school in a different country, especially since they’d probably have to wear a school uniform which they never will have done before

Your kids should go to public school especially Cora and Evee. I can guarantee that they'll have fun because they can have friends and it'll be a good experience for them if they want new adventures.

Fun fact only Scotland starts the second week of august in England school starts in the first week of September and I’m pretty sure that’s the same with wales x

I love your kids' attitude toward public school. Rykel: "I like the social aspects of public school" (or something to that effect). Very impressive attitude. Very mature mindset. Also, if you guys visited Silverburn, that's fairly small compared to Canada's largest mall at a massive 5.3 million square feet. It was the largest mall in the world until it was overtaken a few years ago. That's right West Edmonton Mall in our West end. Now that's easy to get lost in, Rykel! It's happened to me countless times.

I went to public school all my life and I'm saying that I made lots of friends and gained lots of confidence when speaking to others. I'm just saying i think its whatever your kids want but i recommend them to experience it in their life. Especially since their still young and it would be perfect for your younger ones to experience it when they're still young. Also, your older kids Shae and Wyatt can experience high school and make friends and relations.

I also had this friend of mine that did homeschool and preferably she liked public better because she could focus more, and she also gotten better at interacting with other people. It's their decision but I think they would like the experience of public school because they would get more confident and more social with other people and make new friends.

If they don't like, well then they'll know. How often does someone get to say 'I went to school in Scotland' when they're from another country?

Definitely public school for all kids and mostly the little girls❤ im a highschool senior rn in public school😭😭 i went to public school fromm prek up 2nd grade during 3rd-6th grade i was homeschooled and i really loved it considering all the perks it came with😂 similar to ur situation my family and i moved countries and i had the choice to go to public skl i was rly indecisive but i decided to be brave enough and it was just an incredible experience. after trying out public school again i couldnt imagine myself even being homeschooled ever again. public school was just different. different in a fabulous way it helped me socialize and have a great opportunity. i feel like evee and cora should at least TRY stepping a bit out of their comfort zone obvii this is just advice sending love from the UK xoxo

I live in England and we don't start school until September! However I think either public or private are good options as they both have advantages and disadvantages- very tricky decision to make!!

You can make just as many friends while homeschooled. I'm homeschooled and have just as many friends as my public schooled friend do. It's also not about the number of friends you have it's about the quality. One true friend is better than 10 fake friends. Not trying to be rude but I did want to say that

Public school gives you the real feel for the real world with real people not sheltered by home school… so I choose public school… but each has its benefits. I think they should at least try public school again first before deciding what they really wanna do. So they can make a non-biased honest decision. Who knows, they may or may not like public school in Scotland, only one way to find out. 😊

I can’t speak for everyone but for me personally, I can confidently say that homeschool was better for me and I actually learned a lot of lessons that public school wouldn’t teach you. My mom was my teacher and in 7th and 8th grade even 9th I learned so much more about life skills than I knew I ever would at public school. Of course every situation is different but I just wanted to share my experience lol

My kids and I moved to Czech Republic when my oldest two were toddlers but I think it still counts as a foreign school experience because my husband and I are both American all our kids (4boys) are currently public schooled and attend all Czech speaking schools.

I loved this Video & that mall sure was HUGE. I THINK going to public school in a different country would be a VERY hard hard thing to do. I also agree with dad to send Evee to public school for 1 day, a week at the most cause it takes more then just 1 day to get acclimated but ultimately I’d homeschooled her cause if I was her & I was sitting in a class room I’d be mad that I was the only one in a actual school room while my other Siblings were studying at home OR going on a fun but also educational field trip

So you get to interact with kids of all ages more than public school. Just thought I'd say that without trying to sound rude. If your wondering why I keep saying that it's because some people get offended at the slightest things so I've started to be more careful

Back to School already. I apparently graduated high school in 2018 and college in 2021 and it’s only been 2 years ago for me and I’m having a good time with my self and I didn’t like 9th grade for most thing was to take a 100 questions by the end of the year for a citizenship test and it was crazy because they wanted us to pass it 65% or higher and have to pass in your freshman and don’t have to worry about and that you will have graduation of high school and if you don’t pass it than you have to start all over and thank goodness for me I passed it I got 94%

I think your kids should go to public school, it will be a whole new experience. They will enjoy making friends, going on school camps and adventures with their friends. Evee should especially go because she said yes to going back to public school and changed her mind. But all in all the kids should get out of their comfort zone and try it out they may enjoy it and if not they can always be home schooled.

I think the fact that none of the others picked public school pushed Evee to change her mind but i hope she tries a day

Evie made the right choice! If you move to a new country, going to school is essential, otherwise you will be all alone. Its already hard to move, imagine without having any friends whatsoever. Evie will adapt so quickly that way, as for the others, I just hope they dont feel isolated. Good luck.

I think they should all go to public school. It helps them to branch out and meet new people and make new connection. Also going to a school in a new place is honestly so great. I am doing it and it's one of the best choice I made. So I think they should all try it out for a week and take risk and step out of there comefortzone.

Scotland has a great education system. Also Scottish colleges/ universities are free if you live there
