About dress codes... I actually got dress coded for one outfit that I really didn't think would get dress coded. I will make a video on what I wear to school for a week and talk more about the dress codes we have cause it's actually a really interesting subject. What happens if an outfit gets dress coded?

here is some honest advice about highschool: 1. when it comes to backpacks. it’s much better to get them from a brand store IF you can. if the backpack fits and is comfortable. then it will last for the next school year or so on. after a while , teachers start giving u more and more stuff to put in ur bag and it can cause pain on your back pack. so get one that has many pockets on the inside and out , get one that has a area on the sides for a water bottle. and that should be good. 2. as far as school supplies goes , you can always look online on ur school website or county thing and search school supplies needed for ur grade or school. but most highschools require at least 7 folders , 4-5 1-3” binders. pens , pencils , highlighters , and more. 3. the work gets harder as the year goes on. and teachers want your papers to be neat. and presentable incase they wanna check stuff. so never leave ur stuff at home or forget any papers. bring everything with u and back unless a teacher says otherwise. 4. algebra isn’t too hard once u get the hang of it. but if u want additional help go to khan academy !! they are professional free experts who deal with all classes and explains EVERYTHING for free. please visit that website if u need it.

A tip: most/ALL high schools enforce dress codes & try to make them seem important but teachers and most admin doesn’t actually act on it or care what you wear as long as you’re not naked.

At my school, most of the teachers actually enforce it. Like they will literally look at our clothes as soon as we walk in the building and send us to the office if we don’t follow the dress code. 🙄

it's more of a shock here in az because it's 115 outside, then you go inside with heavy duty ac blowing on you, it's literally a 40 degree difference, so it gets super cold feeling for that reason.

That’s why school uniforms or no dress code would be better. At least an overhauled dress code is necessary imo.

Can you film a video discussing how it's been to live in someone else's home? Do you feel at home already or do you feel awkward? I'm an adult now at 25 but just thinking about how I was your age that would be terrifying for me. Lol. I ended up moving in with my good friends family in high school and sometimes I would feel so awkward even though I knew them for years.

my schools dress code is only polos and jeans. can’t have a logo on the polo and it has to be a solid color. if we wear tank tops or shorts or a polo that has stripes on it, we aren’t sent home

The host family provides the bed, food, and transportation. Her family provides her money for shopping and other stuff like that.

If you check her socialblade, you’ll see that she makes up to 6k€ (between 380€ - 6.100€ to be exact) a month from KZread alone. She probably gets a monthly allowance from her parents, too.... but she’s probably able to pay for the clothes herself.

My cousin is a exchange student advisor (she finds placement) from what she's said they have their own money they bring for cost. Host parents just cover housing and food and basic needs
