Especially when your friend is a ballet dancer and is telling you to keep your arms bent not straight and showing you how to do a proper leap and telling you where to hold when stunting🤦🏼‍♀️

I remember all the times we had to wear our uniforms to school. It sucked. I got weird looks and people kept asking if I was a cheerleader. One day I just said, " No, I just stole the uniform from a random closet." Then I got in trouble cause they actually believed me.😆

DIY Mia same, when I was in middle school cheer in 8th grade we actually wore a t-shirt and black leggings instead of the whole uniform and i was late to join cheer so I didn't get the t-shirt and I had to wear the whole uniform, I was the ONLY one for real and I got pretty weird looks. Idk if we're wearing the whole uniform this year or what but I hope not

Every time we have a game(football basketball,etc) we have to wear just our jackets unless its some big game like coming home or homecoming

OMG the most relatable struggle is when you fall in front of people!! I'm mean seriously! You practice a whole lot then you fall and people are like "omg that's sooo easy why are they falling?!" And they know nothing about cheer!!! 😑

This is so relatable. I do football cheer, basketball cheer, and competitive cheer. Plus have homework, a social life, and relationship to maintain. I don't know people do it.

The worst struggle is when your on your period for the first practice, so everybody is still excited, but your a slug and want nothing but to go home, for me the first couple of practices are just going over cheers and I had to yell, but I had the biggest headache, it was a nightmare.

not at my school lol my high school football team won back to back state championships for class A 3 years running. Haven't lost a game since before sophomore year and now i'm a senior. So usually our student section is bigger than the home teams 😂😂

For my school, our football team and basketball team do actually like us. They’re really fun to hang out with in or off the field, plus they do help us around when it comes to pre-game stuff, not to mention they support us too when it comes to competitions. They would just show up with our school spirit wear and Pom poms and support us. So overall, There very sweet gentlemen. But, if there’s one group of people that truly despise the cheerleaders in our school was the colorguard and marching band, but Mainly the colorguard

one time we were about to stunt and the football players yelled “don’t do any sissy stunts ladies” and the basketball players once yelled “CHEERLEADERS” like little girls who want to be a cheerleader when she grows up. both talk crap ab us to each other

We cheer for boys and girls games. The girls understand how hard we work, but the boys... They ignore us.

My school is all about sports and we're crazy, so if the team messes up (which they normally don't) we will jump from the bleachers and do the cheer with them and we ALWYAS cheer with them😂. GO SPARTANS!! Also EVERYONE shows up at away games too

I think the most relatable one was being the new kid in the team. I recently switched schools and joined a new squad and its been really hard for me to make new friends because every one already had friends. It can be pretty tough but it turned out well for me.

I know y'all did high school cheer struggles this is more of an all star cheer struggle but I'' not if it's a cheer struggle. Friend: Hey can you hang out this weekend? Me: sorry I cheer practice. Friend: How about next weekend? Me: I still have cheer Friend: when do you not have cheer Me: uhhhh * does math problems in head * 3025?

These struggles happen to me and im not in cheer!! Its sooo embarrising the struggles especially the away games!! (Well for me its away competitions for swimming) im in my car for 8 hours top on a sunday!!! And most schools dont have swim teams!! Struggles for everyone!! :-(

Literally ALL of the struggles are so relatable. Like my school went to a state game last year and the crowd for the other team booed us the entire time we were doing a floor cheer.

This is literally the millionth time I have watched it. This video is goals! GOALS!!!!

SOO relateable..I'm starting this year as a freshmen in jv cheer and I can relate to some of these struggles. Yet school hasn't even started. 😬

Practice jumps and tumbling if you have any I'd say a month or so ahead of time and watch videos like the ones on this channel to help! I tried out my freshman year and made it and i never cheered before that but youtube helped a lot. I wish you the best of luck and hope you make the team!!

Have all your splits down and practice jumps and tumbling, and the tryout is usually beginning of the year, you can start now, it takes time. Good luck!

two words: my.life. as a cheerleader, ur schedule gets incredibly busy with after school practices, classes after school, and especially hw. When u wear uniforms to school, it’s awkward bc many ppl pile u wit a bunch of questions. And away games... don’t get me started, it embarrassing enough no one shows up but the fact that the other school team lowkey makes fun of u

I think the cheering without response is the most relatable because that literally happened SO much to my cheer team at away games

It was the saddest moment because is was a basketball game it was at a park court and we had 30 cheerleaders and 10 players and we were in our pe uniforms

Hahah, I'm in marching band, so i can relate to pretty much all of these, just not the /exact/ same way. It's always awkward when the cheerleaders cheer to the student section, and we're right next to them, so we start cheering to get the students to cheer but NOTHING HAPPENS😂 Same with when no one responds to our stands tunes.

The ride home from away games was always my favorite! Only if we won though😂 if we lose, it's usually a quiet ride home. But when we win, the team is blasting music and laughing and it's just fun😁 and sometimes we got to ride home with the football team

I think what might be a struggle for me is balancing school with all star cheer. Hopefully this can be a-drama-free school year too. I love your channel because you always make the best videos and they are always so creative. You guys are my inspirations. I always think to myself in my head "I wish I could be them".
