I usually never cry, but today i cried alone. Coming tuesday my school starts class, but i am not excited for it. I bought cute stationery and watched a shit ton of studyblrs, thats not the problem. I just have always been that ONE different kid, and i dont mind that, but ive never been fully accepted and i could never fully be myself without being cut off for not fitting into anyones life. Myself, i love the thought that you can be anyone who you want to be, but at this point i dont know anymore. I have tried everything but nobody likes me for more than my jokes. when they get to know me they cut me off. im not a mean person, im slightly autistic or something similar, but im definitely not mean or negatively weird. Can you please give me some advice? People tell me i should find better friends but that doest work, ive tried that many times. :(

If you label yourself as 'that one different kid' you'll slowly become it. In a years time you'll look back on what you're stressing over and realise it was for nothing. Enjoy your school years - after all they're the years of learning and progression and you'll begin to learn who you are yourself and notice the things that make you, you. Don't focus on the negatives but focus on the positives.

hi there, sorry to hear you've been having this. dont call yourself that one different kid, because we're all different! i'm different, you're different, they're different, we all are. don't try to fit in, just act the way you want to! you're you, and no one can tell otherwise. if they won't enjoy your presence, then they're missing out on a very wonderful person. maybe this year will be different from the rest, trust me. things will change. don't listen to the others who won't accept you for who you really are. if you do you'll stress over it, and things will most definitely go down hill from there. think of all the things that make you happy, and focus on them. don't think about what they say, or what they think, because right now it won't matter. just stay optimistic, you'll be rewarded later on :) (aka sorry if my advice doesnt...make sense, hope you have a great day!)

Idk if anyone will see this, but does anyone have tips for transferring into a new school? I fear I won't fit in my new school because everyone will have their friend groups already. I also fear the work will be too hard for me because I joined late. Especially since this is my first year of high school. Thanks!
